Understandable :D
See. I get where you're coming from, but here's the thing: what you see as constructive criticism is actually a bit off the mark. A good book needs lore, and building that lore takes time. It has to start somewhere, often in a way that leaves readers a bit in the dark at first. That’s part of the journey—from not knowing to understanding the world the writer has created. I get that from your current place in the story, it might seem frustrating not to have everything explained right away. But from a writer's perspective, creating intrigue is crucial. Almost every book has terms or elements that aren't fully explained at first. They come up unexpectedly, and readers experience a brief period of confusion before everything clicks into place, making earlier parts of the story even more meaningful. That's how a good story unfolds, and when the pieces finally come together, it's incredibly satisfying as a reader. So, while your comment makes sense from a reader's standpoint, it's also a bit of a desire to know everything immediately, which isn’t always how storytelling works. Other readers might feel the same as you, but from a writer’s perspective, it’s about building that gradual reveal and payoff. This is why I wouldn't label your comment as constructive critisim.
