Almost every book has terms or elements that aren't fully explained at first. They come up unexpectedly, and readers experience a brief period of confusion before everything clicks into place, making earlier parts of the story even more meaningful. That's how a good story unfolds, and when the pieces finally come together, it's incredibly satisfying as a reader. So, while your comment makes sense from a reader's standpoint, it's also a bit of a desire to know everything immediately, which isn’t always how storytelling works. Other readers might feel the same as you, but from a writer’s perspective, it’s about building that gradual reveal and payoff. This is why I wouldn't label your comment as constructive critisim.
