The biggest reason I can think of is that you wouldn’t be able to copy anything above your level, say these cultivation techniques go to level “10” and a level “5” cultivator makes a copy, it would only have levels 1-5 with no way to access anything higher. Also who knows how difficult it would be to copy anyways

??? 20/10 means that at 20 feet you can make out details that the average person can only see at 10 feet though?

If they were pressed up against the barrier when they died wouldn’t they fall or at least be pushed inside once the barrier wasn’t stopping them? Then they could’ve been pulled inside by what’s it’s name

Unfortunately it is, its mentioned a couple time that bob has something in his mouth and although it didn’t feel like he’d be the type of person to give a thumbs up Leo does so several times.

I get that in this novel they don’t dig into the family stuff yet. However that is very heavily explored in the previous novel, this is a sequel that I believe the author attempted to write to be able to be read as a standalone. Nevertheless, the characters and worldbuilding have all been established in the other book so if you want the background behind the things that are somewhat left out I would check that one out
