She wondered if singing to the rose right now would elicit a response from it. However, she had only tried her ability on flower buds before, making them bloom, but this particular rose seemed lifeless. Moreover, everyone knew that once a flower died, it eventually fell and withered into dust. What if she made things worse rather than better? The thought made her mind dizzy for a moment.
