The last page is slightly difficult to understand 😕. It is my understanding that there were three people secretly observing Elenora. One of the observers killed another but was killed in turn by the third observer escaped. The third then healed his injured comrade while vowing to protect Elenora "this time" while referring to her as Empress. There are three people who definitely have memories of past life with the Crown prince being a possible fourth. Interesting.

The Crown Prince was a teen five years ago so he should be 18-19 now. It seems ironic to call someone of his age helpless after a seven year old thwarted a coo and decimated the house the betrayed her kingdom and assassinated her parents. Now the ripe old age of 13, she has been called upon to guard and protect the helpless 18 year old. I love it!

I would guess she is a recessive Omega and John is her fated mate. The abdominal pain she is experiencing must be her body trying to go into heat. John's dad's pheromones made her sick since she has a mate. What I am not sure about is if John's dad smirked because he could smell his son's pheromones on her or if he could tell she is an Omega. Why else are all these middle-aged men hanging out at her bakery?
