sorry, but as much as all this explains how he is I don't think I can support them being together. most villains have a sad past. even Meredith is kind of a product distorted by how she was created. you can understand thei past and fogive, but to actually voluntarily want to stay married... it is not healthy. He won't change out of the blue. you can love someone and yet choose not to be with her/him because you know that won't do any good.

i think he's the only non toxic ML of the stories I am currently reading.

and please don't get me wrong author - the story is fantastic (otherwise i wouldn't read it). these are just my expectations for the next chapters.
