I dont think clothing is the only reason. Men, on average, build muscle quicker and better than women. Obviously, some women like Ronda Rousey from MMA or Natalie Coughlin from swimming ARE musclar, but they would build bigger and stronger muscles if they were men. It wouldn’t be fair to put a man against a women, based on the fact that men, again on average, are better than women at strength training. So in short, I believe that it’s most based on biology, not clothing. However! I do like female swimmer’s swimwear...
