It’s not an order. He seriously had problems in that first life. Why do the guys even respect him? What did he do to earn it? Fearing somebody is not the same as respect.

Him being lonely doesn’t excuse him being abusive to her for 3 years. No matter what his reasons were for keeping her locked up and isolated from people and the outside world it’s not okay. It’s not something that should be forgiven. If anybody irl thinks he’s a great guy even after reading about Momo’s traumatizing past… they should find a therapist for themselves.
