Here's a thought. Perhaps the Dungeon reaches deep enough to barely break into the Netherrealm of this world, and with the dungeon feeding off of those energies to create monsters (The closer to gekai, the weaker these energies become resulting in different tiers of floors/monsters) and the monsters at the very bottom are much more akin to Demons. Ouranos doesn't want this info getting out because there's a chance that humanity could gain power from and become corrupted by the "Devils" from below. The reason the Xenos are less hostile towards humans was because during the time of Zeus and Hera familias, the two worlds interacted together to at least develop a bit of a non-hostility during that time?

I'm pretty sure this is the second time this line is used.
