Story was completely derailed by the prequel stuff. At this point half the story is just fluff

The early chapters jump around way too much and make understanding what is going on pretty much impossible. Titles are thrown out as if they have always been there and the MC gets powers as if it was nothing. not to mention the author decided to turn the Western Dragons into Eastern Dragons complete with one being described as jade lmao.

ngl I am so tired of the Gojo template it gets overused in these kinds of novels and the characters end up going full chinese young master when they get it.

This book is painful to read. Typical SI bs I was excited to see the Aburame clan represented but like 4-5 chapters in he immediately gets the sharing sharingan. on top of that he just comes across as predatory when dealing with women.

So this book used to be about spirit beasts. Around chapter 69 the entire story makes a left turn. The MC gets pulled into some other world, and it all just goes down hill from there. It felt like the plot was severely sidelined so I tried to skip ahead, and by chapter 469 the plot is still sidelined from the original world. Hell his system seems to become less and less relevant as the story progresses.

This story is a blatant bait and switch. It starts out strong then after you get past the free read point, the quality takes a nose diven. Buyers beware.
