Honestly writing a review strictly for those bonus chapters. Love the story though, the grammar is a bit bad, but at least you can generally understand what's going on. The story development and combat is what's really carrying it right now. Chinese elements are easy to ignore if you used to read cultivation novels, I've seen worse lol.

Vampyr really focuses on the manipulation and decision making as a vampire. Your morality and your choices on who to feed on influence your mentality and the people around you deeply. I still play it, fun as hell when you find out people's dark secrets to manipulate those close enough to your target.🦇

At first.... I was very apprehensive of reading this. It seemed like another author just venting their frustrations onto their mc in the beginning. But wow.... this guy actually cooked. Once he gets his powers, this story DRASTICALLY improves. I feel like it's a miracle how well the author shifted the story and his main character's perspective once the Mc stops trying to keep his family safe by keeping his hands clean...and joins the "skulls for the skull throne" gang.

I was referring to Gwen not being upset about the Mc killing criminals who just tried to kill him while they believed he was powerless. It was about her being the son of a police chief making her subconsciously think that him killing them specifically, is self-defence. Because in her mind, that's probably the only time he's ever been in true danger. Forgive me for the long-winded response, I wake up and think too much😅
