this whole fight scene is just so weird because apparently they've already got what they wanted Cleo could just hold off the Beast while the other dude Escapes in the car and then just fly away afterwards like none of these enemies have flight capability so it just feels weird where I know they have to leave and there's definitely people coming to help the mayor out but yet they don't seem that hurried

all right I'm done with this I read the author note and I was going to give it some more time which I usually don't and just leave it chapter 10 if I'm not liking it but now I'm just tired especially with all the info dumping within the first 10 chapters but its not that bad. I digress
