I'm confused. Does the Mc still hold meta knowledge about the universe or has that been changed?

I don't know if you decided on a mentor but I did some thinking as I finished this.... I don't think he should mentor with any of your choices. Don't get me wrong interaction is okay and possible friendship or what have you would be cool, but all of them have serious bad habits that I don't think the MC should get into. So while thinking real hard on it I believe the best possible option that causes the least challenges is either an OC or Reed. I know he is looked down upon for his loyalty but I think a long term relationship before the events of the dlc will make him change organically. Ntm the MC can get access to high end training and possibly the face changing mods early while having a legitimate link to Songbird without him having Silverhand jacked into his head.

I don't know about the killing. If Lex had killed him it'd be more understandable, but I guess it's your choice.

I'm liking where this is going. You've managed to so far do the hardest thing superhero fan fiction writers have trouble with; Making the mc not be a edgelord. Typically I tend to be against grey leaning superheroes, but Invincible's source material isn't like other superhero comics. So having Mark be a bit colder will not be too alien from the source material. I still would like to see him prioritize saving a life over taking one, but I can understand why he would in this. I partially wished you had saved the guardians, but I'm okay with their deaths too. Please keep up the good work.

To that extent how could Ron understand that, that particular set of hisses Harry made in his sleep was open and not say, "Please don't eat me." It was a plot issue in the actual series so its not on you, it just set a standard that if a human is exposed to enough parceltongue they will be able to speak a magical language through imitation.

I like it, but I don't know how you'll explain Ron learning it from a sleeping Harry, as he did in canon. I mean Harry should instinctively remember the word "open".
