Ok.. so I read the raws till around 750 chs, skimmed ahead to around 1000 then i dropped it. There are more than 3000 chapters in total. The story can be divided into two parts, the Mc's struggle and rise in the main world and him sweeping the floor in the dimensional acg worlds. Pros: it is really interesting to see how he deals with enemies in the dimensional world. There are plenty of different power systems and cool abilities that he incorporates. He travels to really cool worlds - Personally I loved the bloodborne arc, cause I love bloodborne, date a live has kurumi, he got a zero army in another and Shajahan no Shana had an interesting resolution. Also edge of tommorow was kinda fun. His drip, my man literally equips the abyss watcher set and decimated his opponents. That was f***ing hype. Loved the aesthetic. but that's all. Now here comes the cons: Nationalism and Racism: It's not huge, it doesn't get in the way, but it's there in the mc's thoughts. Lolicon and Harem: The Mc has a harem of lolis, also he built a force/palace full of lolis he rescued from one of the dimensional worlds. I am not saying he shouldn't have, they were, quite pitiful, I am just saying that the author has intentionally made this choice and frankly speaking this makes me uncomfortable. Pokémon Harem: I swear he basically keeps on collecting girls and doesn't stop. Basically very little screen time per character. But they are just collectibles so who cares. R**e: In the latest arc, the Mc has been infected by the abyss and before he can control it he gets attacked by an enemy (girl). He loses control and the 'R' words her. When he regains consciousness she has been turned into his summon/servant. Any remorse, not really. He is like well she had it coming, feels bad man. In story, it wasn't really his fault, but need I remind you that this is a novel written by an author, there was absolutely no reason for this to happen except that the author wanted to add that girl to the Harem Collection and couldn't find a better way. This was also around the time I decided to drop this. I skimmed ahead and he goes to SAO and makes a Harem on Aruna, Eriri and bunch of other girls... and well it didn't feel intersting and worth the read. No men: There are basically no Male friends of the Mc or male supporting characters. Also intentionally or not, the original Mc in all of his dimensional hops don't end up well/ die. Conclusion: I did have fun when I read it and dont regret that, but it needs to be dropped eventually. This is essentially a wish fulfillment story. The Mc starts out tame and humble but as the story goes on you see more and more of his true colours. The author gets more and more unhinged and starts distorting an otherwise good story into loli Harem bullshit. Like there is a limit to how much I can accept and look past but the author just keeps in pushing the line more and more the further you get into the story. Really disappointing.
