after 2+ years, i still have this book in my library and check for updates once a week, despite it being on eternal hiatus. I sometimes get frustrated and decide to just move on, but i can't. I hope this gets across how much I love this book. Hope the updates come soon! 🙏

that's fine if you don't like him. Haalfrin's character was based on someone I knew quite well at some point. I didn't personally like the person, but I respected him.

well, it IS a bonus chapter. I keep this stuff from the main storey because I know people don't like to read it. However, it's good for the information to be there at least. All the magic in this world has very strict rules that I have to be consistent with.

that might be true. I have a very hard time investing in a fictional fight if I can't understand the tactical / technical reasoning behind their actions. Thanks for the input. It's good to know how other people might enjoy fight scenes.
