Somewhat of a reason? Bro, I’m pretty sure that that reason for being immature is more than justified. Taught nothing but music until he became crippled, after he became crippled just about everyone gave up on him, his most often care taker was another child, and everyone kept him purposefully ignorant. Not to mention, yes it’s been 600 chapters, but it’s been less than a year as I’m pretty sure it’s been started at least a few times. To overcome being kept purposeful ignorant and “raised” like he has been in less than a year is unrealistic. And yes, being unrealistic in a story like this is par for the course, but I’m just saying that it’s still understandable. As for not even thinking about starting his own faction? Even fully mature and aware people sometimes wouldn’t think about that for various reasons. Some people simply don’t think of themselves as leaders for whatever reason. He’s been changing, slowly yes, but surely this entire time. He’s a bit less oblivious, and takes things a bit more seriously already. People need time to change, especially when things like this have been ingrained into them from basically birth. Uuuum. This faction is run by someone from a Legacy family. I’m sure that she has enough soft power (i.e. connections) to make their life hell. Or, and hear me out, they could just hire someone discreet to take them out. We don’t know all that much about the Legacy families , but I’m sure it wouldn’t be the first time they got rid of someone and not gotten caught.

Dude, I’m fairly sure that authors of this genre understand that this economy wouldn’t work in our world. But, this is a fictional story about a fictional earth that features a VR game. But the game isn’t really a game, because Yuan can cultivate in real life and there has been multiple hints that all the “NPC’s” are actually real. Don’t put too much stock in the economy of all things being realistic.
