Found a good novel only to discover that it's in Webnovel purgatory. Yet another work of quality never to be picked up again. One day, maybe, someone will pick this up again, but once was already half a miracle - twice is like asking to win the lottery.

A few positive things about this novel: 1. The translator exists. Also, the translation is pretty good. 2. The characters have their own motivations and aren't made of cardboard. 3. This novel has better plot than most other translated novels on the site. I can 100% recommend this novel (or at least the first 20 chapters) based on these three points alone.

Hey, this novel isn't so bad. An interesting premise and a gripping plotline woven together with some competent writing. Completely worth reading, especially if you're looking for something new to read.

I seriously cannot understand why this novel is getting the votes/energy stones it's getting at the moment. I can only believe that Webnovel has meddled with the voting pool again. I almost feel like someone's brains have been fried by corporate incompetence...

I can't help but feel like a novel written like this doesn't belong on Webnovel. It belongs somewhere else, where there are plenty of readers to appreciate it for what it is. But at least this way, we'll get snippets of the story every now and then for us to enjoy, and for free! The quality is quite good. Although the story revolves around the protagonist, the other characters also receive plenty of character development along the way. For a web novel, although there are few (and I mean few) syntax and spelling errors here and there, the characters feel like real people, with their own motivations and goals. This is unlike some novels on this site, where almost everyone is a cardboard cut-out. If you've read the other reviews, you'll know that this is a hidden gem. Author, keep it up. And if you're still on the fence about whether or not to read this, just read it anyway. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Whenever the MC makes a choice between two decisions, strangely I can't read them. Thank you to those who commented what they were supposed to say in the comments for those who couldn't read them. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, just read and you'll find out. Or hopefully, they'll have fixed that the time you read this review. MC rerolls his cultivation potential until he gets top notch potential. He then joins a sect, goes on the down low and occasionally does a few high profile things while still trying to be low-key. Some people have also commented that he's stupid sometimes, but so what? Does the MC have to be perfect to enjoy the story? The novel isn't bad. The MC uses a sword, so if you have some strange prejudice against swords (this has barely any impact on the plot anyway), you can skip it. Otherwise, if you really can't find anything better, this novel is fine to read until the very end.

The premise is similar to Bringing Culture to a Different World, but the story is quite fast-paced in comparison. Here, the MC is technically a god with the goal of returning to the 'Blue Planet'. Some people might bash protagonists nowadays for this cliché desire, but I think it'd be nice to flex in front of your friends and family, you know? I'm pretty sure going home doesn't cost you your arm, your leg, and your godhood, you know? It's not a one-way trip, right? Right? (Please tell me I'm right.) This is a good novel. It's not the best, but it's better than the rubbish you see way too often nowadays. The people might not be that smart for their age, but if you don't have anything better to read, you can support this novel for now. (Personal rambling below.) However, I have a certain feeling that another 3-star novel will be picked instead, leaving this much better novel to be thrown into the trash can anyway. I don't know how editors look at books like 'My Special Ability is Perfect Replication', ignore the poor ratings, and say that it's the 'reader's choice', but I digress. Webnovel's editor team can go dumpster diving for all I care. Profit over reputation, I guess.

This is a comedic story. The MC is a well renowned scholar (although he seems to not really recognise just how good he actually is). He has been rejected from the cultivation world because of his apparent crappy potential. He joins a sect in debt and is fooled into believing that it is better than it actually is. Although he is a transmigrator who has read his fair share of novels, he clearly doesn't understand how amazing his learning abilities are (although it could be because he's comparing himself to 'true geniuses'). Furthermore, it seems he would have been able to become a cultivator anyway if he just kept on being a scholar for just a little bit longer. But who cares about that? He's the disciple of an 'amazing' sect now! The sect leader at least tries to treat the MC well. Maybe because of a little bit of guilt. Anyway, the novel isn't too bad. Better than the utter rubbish you see every now and then. If there aren't any other novels you really want to see picked, then this novel isn't a bad choice.

I bet that this novel won't get picked. But if it is, I will be pleasantly surprised that the staff at Webnovel can finally make slightly more logical choices and not pick utter rubbish for short term gains. Haha, who am I kidding. This novel will not get picked. Time to go dumpster diving again...
