He is too attached to canon, he does not get that any actions he takes no matter how mundane are changing canon. I bet you that the sandaime's decision to extend ninja school was a butterfly effect from Ren. He should not talk to Yagura because they are enemies. He cannot kill Yagura because that will just release Sanbi. He should just be focused on running away.

This MC is struggling to survive because he is an impatient idiot. Seriously he has no time constrains, would it kill him to not accumulate horror points slowly and methodically and upgrade skills to max? And why the obsession with meeting humans? I get it that he is lonely and desperately wants human contact but he is a ghost who is scary, sucks out HP and reduces luck passively. Does he want to kill them? And after finally meeting a human child and seeing them scribbling on a wall, this idiot now wants to scold a child for vandalism !? Did he not see that the whole area is in ruins after the apocalypse?! Sorry for the rant, this plot was quite good, but was ruined by trashy character design.

To be fair, in such novels it also makes the MC seem like a fraud. I always wonder what happens after MC 'discovers' everything he knew about from the original work. They would be a famous researcher, while having no ability to research anything on their own, lol.

Ugh, That will just make them all cardboard cut-outs and ruin any romance. I think that the maximum number of people in a harem novel should be around 4. Any more will just ruin the plot and characters for me.

I love how the author is basically calling out other authors for writing idiotic MCs. I mean come on, the MC wants to cause changes in the otome storyline for whatever reason, and when the changes happen they are surprised that the plot is not following the original !? Do they have schizophrenia or something?

Is he seriously name-calling kids for not knowing what babies are? The further I read the more I lose hope in this novel
