ML is def. a piece of trash.

Another book ruined by a worthless male lead. There is no need for the ML to be there, even worse, he takes away from the story. He’s pretty much just using his cultivation to molest the MC, who is supposed to be from a higher realm and leagues above him. Every time they meet the only thing that happens is he dominates her and pins her down, while thinking about how she is his and he will make sure she can never leave. The story is actually pretty decent, as long as you skip all the chapters where the ML is mentioned.

People apologizing for the ML are beyond saving. It’s not only a matter of him being a trashy character that only takes away from the story, it’s also the fact that he is trying to ‘conquer’ the MC in a sexual way. The MC is supposed to be from a higher realm and leagues above these people, yet she is becoming the toy of this person. The worst part, is she is a domineering person, yet she cannot resist and becomes submissive to him. It’s bad character design.

Eh, isn’t he just garbage from a small kingdom? Is he somehow going to keep up with her who has a godly physique and cultivation method because reasons? With these books, as always, the worse aspect is always the ML.

Why is the ML always stronger than the MC for no reason in these books? It’s such an annoying forced romance trope.

Terrible book. started out pretty cliche, but it wasnt bad. Unfortunately, the ML simply never tries to care about the FL. He just drops her off in a house and lets her stay alone without contacting her for 2 months. The FL is basically abused by everyone, physically and mentally, and yet he never helps. Turns out when she was young he met her, she was basically dying on the ground, and she begged for help, and he walked past her and enjoyed his time with the people that abused her to that state. There’s too much to list, but its a weak FL and a ML that absolutely does not care about her in any way. He doesn’t even help her while she’s being molested by his friend, despite her trying to fight him off. She could be beaten to death in front of him, and he really wouldnt care. The cold CEO who doesn’t care trope doesnt work here. He’s trash that makes her already shitty life even worse.

Starts well until the ML meets her. She’s portrayed as an independent and strong character, but then the ML just bursts into her condo and sexually assaults her. She’s just overpowered by him and because of her “naive” upbringing, we’re supposed to believe she doesnt understand what happened. and the worst part is her assistant is there and watches it go down. He basically cheered it on. A stranger bursts into his bosses houses and sexually assaults her, and he’s happy for her. Then there is all the background manipulation he pulls so he can tie her to himself. Story would be 1,000x better if there was no ML.
