Read up to around the 150th chapter in raws. MC becomes insanely arrogant and stubborn for no reason, so much so that it's off putting and doesn't even feel like the same person. He abandons the Li family cause he hates his dad... Uh, what about everyone else? No, he leaves even his friends, uncles and fiancée behind. Not to mention they were literally willing to bat for him against his dad and he's like nah, you guys all suck I'm leaving. He goes to Heaven Gate Pass for 3 years to repay the Li family so he can leave, but he brings along two powerhouses that can pretty much protect him from any and all harm, so him being in Heaven Gate Pass is pretty inconsequential. It's so boring and I hate the author for writing the father like this. It would've been an interesting development if neither of them were clearly in the right, but that's too complex I guess so let's make MC's father kick the pet to near death as well. Like why?
