Basically a 30+ year old guy took a fancy to his landlord's 12 year old daughter so he married the landlord to get closer to her. When the landlord passed away, he took the daughter and groomed her according to his fantasies. After several years, she escaped him to go to another predator. It's such a messy, messed up story...

I feel like there's another translation error happening with all this "big sister" nonsense. He should be calling her "eldest daughter" or something like that, not "big sister." It's technically the right title for her, but the wrong generation.

Like "oh he doesn't love me anymore because he didn't kiss me today :(" I'm describing a relationship that's entirely dependent on physical affection rather than a relationship where the couple actually communicate effectively and equally. This kind of novel is the former, and it makes me so angry that it turns perfectly fine characters into walking vegetables.
