Why does each paragraph keep repeating the characters name and the fact that they are the strongest cadet and the leader of the group? Is this just for filler or to engrave her entire resume into our minds?

The story’s plot is stagnant. The author keeps repeating the same actions from the end of one chapter until the beginning of the next. A third of the story keeps getting repeated. The action is slow to develop and t]he main character hasn’t even gotten close to really starting his main mission. Feeling a little cheated reading a story I had high hopes for
