They can't return to floors they "cleared," so since they were just moved to a different floor unless they cleared those floors by defeating the boss and exiting on the portal to the next floor, then the next time they enter, they will still be on the 5th floor. 😁

Upon taming, there's no way to determine the current "level" of the monster (unless they can express themselves and speak), so Will's words were based on an experience-less slime... Ember is different, though. She's already close to evolution, which he didn't know beforehand, making this estimate inapplicable to her. 😅
