Campione are eccentric and some of them can be real jerks, but that doesn't mean we have to LIKE reading about a jerk. There's a reason why the LN follows Godou, instead of a person like Voban. Don't try to justify an unlikeable character.

As long as Luffy is the only one he tells, I'm fine with it. If he starts telling the other crew members or even just other characters in general, I'll probably drop.

I hope the system doesn't make him overwhelmingly OP to the point where he basically trivializes the other Strawhats. Stories like that are the worst.
