It's nothing special. The MC's golden finger is ridiculously overpowered, but he doesn't fully exploit it, which is pretty frustrating. He collects women, but they serve no real purpose in the story other than acting as cultivation furnaces to speed up his progress. They add nothing to the plot or character development. The novel is also filled with unnecessary filler. Every chapter wastes about a quarter of its length on background characters yapping about nothing important. It adds absolutely nothing to the story. On top of that, the MC has an insanely overpowered clone ability. He can create around 100 clones, each retaining 100% of his original strength. But guess what? He barely uses it. The only thing he does with it is send one clone out to search for treasures. When facing large groups of enemies, he never takes advantage of his clones at all. Later on, when demons invade the human world and far outnumber the humans, the MC acts all worried despite how brokenly powerful he is. It’s like he doesn’t even realize his own strength. I could go on, but let’s move on. The characters are completely shallow. Every enemy acts the same, fights the same way, and repeats the same lines. It gets so repetitive that I end up skipping fights altogether. Everything feels artificial and one-dimensional, almost like the MC is in a dream where everything conveniently works in his favor. I have to admit, the beginning was good and had potential. But after chapter 300, and now at chapter 584, every arc and event feels like a repetitive cycle. The story and writing never evolve beyond a flat, one-dimensional experience. Overall, this novel had promise, but it eventually became dull and predictable, both in storytelling and writing quality.

My take after reading 245 chapters. The MC in this story is overpowered. He has never lost a fight or even come close to losing one. He is not exactly a good person, but he is not a bad one either. I would say he is crazy at times. We meet his family and sister, but the author seems to forget about them later on. There are barely any of the usual obnoxious Chinese cultivation tropes in this novel. The MC’s golden finger is pretty much forgotten later on. One thing that gets annoying is that every single enemy underestimates the MC and then dies to him. Even after hearing about his strength, new enemies refuse to believe it and still challenge him, only to meet the same fate. It gets really repetitive. The story follows the same cycle. An enemy provokes the MC. The MC stomps them. A new enemy underestimates the MC for no reason despite his clear track record. They provoke him. They die. This pattern repeats over and over. Most characters do not seem to have a brain. The power levels are all over the place, and the world-building is almost nonexistent. All we know is that there is an empire, invading enemies, a demon country, noble families, and something beyond the mountains. After more than 200 chapters, the MC is still in the same place, and there is no clear plot at all. The translation is also kind of iffy, with bad sentence structures. Albeit, it's many times better than mtl. Overall, if you enjoy martial arts themes with fast-paced, action-packed fights and an unstoppable MC rising to invincibility, then you will probably like this. By the way, the MC is not a coward, so rest assured.

It's meh, not my cup of tea. Seems very generic. I didn't get hooked in within 20 chapters so I'm not going to bother reading it. If you like futuristic space power stuff then you might like this one. If you don't like futuristic space power stuff then I suggest you turn away. It's just a suggestion though so it doesn't hurt to read 20 chapters and see if you like it. As for the mc's golden finger, he can take in dead people's soul and copy their skills but it obviously comes with downsides. The mc has to solve any resentment or regret the soul has. If the mc doesnt then he will get effected by the souls lingering obsession. Overall, this kind of golden finger just feels like a plot device. It feels like any plot is going to be centered around the mc absorbing the souls of a strong person and then having to resolve the resentment of that person which will prob lead to more stronger enemies and cycle and repeat. That's just my take on it within the 20 chapters. Let me know if it's any different.

The novel is pretty good so far but the author loves dragging conversations or inner monologues. Sometimes they take up a third of the chapter. It feels like such a waste. It's also pretty slow paced. 81 chapters and he has not enter the 9th grade realm yet. Martial realms go from lowest to highest, 9th grade-1st grade.

It is pretty mediocre, to be honest. The main character's cheat ability is not even close to what it is supposed to be. The protagonist transmigrates into a game he created, but he somehow knows almost nothing about it. On top of that, he is not the smartest thinker. The whole novel feels very average and generic. The setting is just like any other martial arts novel. The main character starts off in a small town or county, and problems conveniently arise right after he transmigrates. Most of the time, the conflict involves a generic rebel army plot or a ghost or demon subplot. There is nothing new or special about it, except for the protagonist’s cheat ability. But even that feels like a bait and switch because it does not actually do what it is supposed to. Just read the first five chapters, and you will see what I mean.

Its as if we start off with reading ch 100 instead of ch 1 from the start. The terms used are not translated at all. Everything goes from 0-100 from the start.

The novel is actually pretty good. Translation is fine for the most part. The only thing that will make me drop the novel is the inconsistency of the martial realms. It's so bad. For example, "Constable Wu Qian was at the Body Refining Stage, while most of the rest were at the Blood Refining Stage, with only a few at the Body Refining Stage." "It should be known that a Panic Level Demon, even the weakest, possessed cultivation at the Body Refining Stage, and some even possibly reached the Blood Refining Stage -- they were not something a first-rank Metropolitan Procurator from the Jing Tian Department could contend with." If you've read the first chapter of the novel then you'll know that the realms are completely wrong. It's only 9 chapters in and its this bad already.

I’m at chapter 29 so far, and the story has been pretty boring and generic up to this point. The MC starts off renting a house in a market and farming in the available space to take advantage of his golden finger. Naturally, as time goes on, he becomes richer and upgrades to a better house with more farming space. So far, his powers aren’t shown to be overly OP, and he tries to keep a low profile. For example, he avoids risky things like exploring treasure-filled ruins or hunting demon beasts. Instead, he’s content with patiently planting seeds and harvesting them, knowing that he’ll eventually become powerful if he stays consistent. The MC also doesn’t come across as particularly overpowered in terms of cultivation. In fact, it seems like he might have trash talent, considering that over a year of cultivating with his plants hasn’t noticeably improved his progress. Then again, it’s unclear whether slow progress like this is normal since the author doesn’t clarify whether it’s standard to cultivate for so long with minimal results. As for the translation, it’s passable—not bad enough to make me drop the novel, but nothing exceptional either. Overall, I’d give this a 3.5/5. It’s a decent read if you’ve got nothing else to dive into, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking.

It’s just another overused concept that’s been done countless times. There’s nothing unique or of higher quality here. The MC gets a game-like power that essentially turns his life into a game simulator. He can see the HP of beings, collect loot drops, and easily grow stronger. For instance, he can kill mutated zombies, obtain a core from them, and presumably use it to power up. The novel itself is bland and completely predictable. Of course, the beginning of the story starts slow, with the MC being weak. Then, as the story progresses, zombies inevitably turn into "super zombies," and humans develop superhuman powers. Power levels will keep escalating, eventually becoming indistinguishable from your typical xianxia cultivation novel. The zombie aspect will gradually fade away as these so-called zombies gain intelligence and the ability to communicate. At that point, you’ll start wondering, “Are these even zombies anymore?” The answer, of course, is no—they’re just humans with superpowers labeled as zombies. This type of plot has been done to death. Oh, and naturally, the MC gets paired with a beautiful widow who lost her husband during the virus outbreak. She immediately starts relying on him, and it’s painfully obvious that they’ll end up having a relationship (and probably sleeping together). Realistically, why even introduce her less than 10 chapters into the story if not for that purpose? It’s just so predictable. Overall, it’s a boring and unimaginative novel that starts with a zombie concept but gradually morphs into a superhero vs. super-zombie story. There’s no originality or excitement to be found here.
