I would say that the amount of a material she absorbs will have a certain percentage of it everyday so that would be distributed to smaller parts of the body to strengthen them. stronger materials will be more difficult to absorb so I would say that she needs to improve her current body state to step up to be able to absorb them.

The MC is not a coward, she is just careful and realistic. Can anyone say that they would go around getting into fights and exposing their powers without considering the effects produced by doing so if placed in the same situation? Without being born as a Saiyan, Mutant or Namekian, most others are essentially quite weak in growth or survivability so most would not take risks with their lives. If it was a Saiyan story then your point about being cowardly may apply. Now onto the other stuff, I honestly found that such an age in the timeline was most suitable for her race when I began writing since that age is usually not explored in most fanfics and would give her plenty of room to grow before main timeline kicks in. Reasons being that I wanted to explore some of the earlier timeline too like early Roshi etc. One of the main problems I had was establishing a proper power system for the use of her powers that would fit in with the current displayed power system. Meanwhile I could have perhaps done a little better with some of my earlier decisions since it restricted me quite a lot with what I could do with the MC and the story around her. The development of her is quite slow and does not pick up until she has gone to demon realm where she starts understanding her direction to gain power. I also explained in another post that had been posted that I had been working on many projects so I was not able to focus on it completely and I would make some errors along the way. Looking back on it, if I had the opportunity then I would go back and rewrite some things and perhaps make a couple of different decisions in my writing. I also regret that I was unable to get as far into writing beyond her latest events so that I could start going more into incorporating some parts of the Dragon Ball world like things or people that could be introduced from the manga, anime or movies and to make her do a little more as her powers begin to grow.

it is an uncertainty since electro would run on haki/stamina of the Mink Tribe but when using the Devil Fruit ability, it could draw from the same reserves. It could be possible to use both powers but the usage of energy would be much greater.

Whitebeard was already on his last legs anyways with illness and old age. The wounds he gains during the war would already be enough to worsen his situation. Even if he gets away, it is uncertain if he would survive for much longer.

I think that during the time of the One Piece anime was in the middle of the Wano Arc, MHA had yet to fully introduce such characters taking a more active role in the manga/anime but I could be wrong.
