The look was finished off with several leather straps across their body, meant to hold weapons, potions and more rations. Then, depending on the environment, they'd either have a long jacket with several pockets that also acted as armour, or shorted leather jacket with pockets that also acted as armour, and a backpack with other supplies. Obviously, you could tell which variation Kellen preferred, and which one Brent preferred.
