This is what you are doing with this one though? Although it was just the friendzone decision that you let the readers take in this case. You mean readers decisions chapter by chapter? That is called Quest (forums like questionable questing comes to mind) if I'm not wrong. On the other hand that is practically dungeons and dragons with your readers, which is another can of worms altogether methinks.

Curious style of writing. Interacting with readers has never brought anything good across history. Godspeed in your experiment. And most of all, have fun.

friendzone, Alicent is the better character and we are involved with her emotionally, besides, she had been with the MC since everystep of the way, and seeing the way the MC views "familiy" it doesn't make sense for him to "choose" an outsider that is just infatuated with him now that he is "something in society". In fact, that adds more value to the childhood sweethart more, since she was with him since he had fking nothing. Also harem writing in a story about family/mafia values doesn't make sense. At least in my opnion, I don't believe I'm wrong in this.
