I'm pretty lazy, I guess.

Guess I just lost motivation for writing, mate. Honestly, I might do a re-write of one of my stories one day but who knows? All depends on whether or not I have time with how much work I've got with my job lately.
Started out pretty alright. Decent beginning of a relationship between the MC and Leah (bitter shapeshifter girl in the original Twilight movies/books), and I could see it becoming a cute and natural relationship...then the author got indecisive. Out of nowhere Rosalie is suddenly revealed to be the MC's mate. That's fine, I guess, potential for a similarly cute and comforting relationship with a lonely Vamp and then Leah and the MC can have a more sibling-like friendship. Then the author puts up a poll or something to decide who the protagonist ends up being paired with...and Leah wins. So a single Rosalie was added to the story for literally no reason and is relegated to a desperate stalker, pretty much. I'm not reading a story where the author lacks basic foresight on where they want their plot to go. It just doesn't say good things about the fanfics future. Not to mention the MC's main motivations are 1) getting high and 2) eating. He literally has no other hobbies or whatever. So, odd decisions by an indecisive author who seems to keep flipflopping back and forth between Rosalie and Leah (on who gets with the MC) and a boring protagonist...all together it doesn't make for a compelling story. I'd honestly recommend a re-write.
Not every magic system. It's only recently that magic in certain forms of media (mainly anime) gives the user the ability to enhance their body's physical performance and even then its rarely permanent. Like Reinforcement in the Fate series, which is temporary physical enhancement. Traditional magic doesn't give you the option for a stronger body - just look at Harry Potter or DnD. You don't see Wizards or Sorcerers in those universes showcasing superhuman strength unless it's a racial trait and never with magic.
Criminally underrated Chainsaw Man fanfic.Characters are great, you care about them, they interact in natural ways you don't often see on Webnovel, they actually grow as the story progresses--they're just good, well-written characters. Especially the MC. His growth as a character is amazing.Story Progression could do with some work. The relationship between the MC and his love interest is rushed at first, which was hella confusing because it came out of nowhere, but it does become more natural as the story progresses.Writing quality is great. Probably not perfect but I didn't see anything when reading through it and neither did any mistakes break my immersion (so there's no easy to spot mistakes).More than anything, this feels like it could actually take place in Chainsaw Man. It's not a one dimensional power fantasy where the MC drools over Makima or Power or Himeno and just breezes through life. It's difficult to properly explain but it's just dark enough to be taken seriously while still injecting comedy to keep things a little light just like the original Chainsaw Man series.
Ah, yeah, that makes sense. Thanks for explaining it to me 👍
Mommy...sorry...mommy--Ahem, anyway, I'm pretty sure this is who the Author is talking about.
So, he's a typical manlet Japanese MC. That's a shame.
