Nathaniel was glad he and Maya spoke last night, he had no idea that she had been harboring such worries over their future.
He knew that she still had more things on her mind but it was clear to him that she wasn't ready to open up about those things so the best that he could do was to wait.
He had no intention of pushing her to speak about things she wasn't ready about, and to be honest he was worried about the kind of discussion those worries would bring.
"Sir," Clark said as he peaked through the door, waiting to catch Nathaniel's attention.
"What is it?" Nathaniel asked, exhausted from the day.
"Nico is here with a plan," Clark told him, to which Nathaniel simply responded with a nod and waved for them to come in.
Nico had clearly been snooping around a military base, he was still in his uniform when he entered the office, making Nathaniel raise a questioning eyebrow.
