JACOB was shocked when he witnessed the significant change in Carina's face, which turned into a significantly older woman who was thin and could barely walk in a hunchback.
"What happened to you?" Jacob asked in disbelief at the woman's changed appearance. He was considering his stance to attack the powerful witch, but he controlled himself. He could not afford to fail to rescue his wife—too many witches inside and outside the palace.
When she saw the surprise on Jacob's face, Carina gestured in the air, and a large mirror appeared in front of her. Her two hands immediately flew up, cupping her face became the oldest woman.
Jacob quietly realized that despite Carina's vision of oldest age, she still held some power. He was thankful that he listened to his reasoning. If she could defeat Angeline with Mallory around, he thought he did not have a chance to beat Carina alone.
