Lure.

Chris was driving his bike.

The day was quite an odd one.

Firstly, all of his fuel got emptied without going anywhere.

Chris for sure had checked the fuel meter reading before leaving his home in the morning.

And he did the same at the office.

And now, his luck, which was always as good as shit, was now soaring above the skies.

How did it all happen all of a sudden.

But he didn't think much of it, as the joy of winning was far greater than the suspicion in his mind.

And ofcourse, the joy was of a calibre which was heavenly.

Afterall, going to Switzerland wasn't an ordinary thing.

They would pay the ninety percent cost of the trip, which would last eighteen days.

All he had to do was to pay the remaining ten percent ammount.

And for what Microsoft pays him, this is nothing, as he can visit Switzerland twice an year if he wants to.

But, the only problem was, how would he convince the manager for a leave of eighteen days?

He thought about it.

"I will leave that problem for the me of tomorrow."

This meant that he will think about it tomorrow.

And this night, he didn't sleep.

He was all busy thinking about how will his colleagues react to this, and how jealous will his neighbour be, and so-so.

***************

The mascot performer, with his headgear off, was kneeling on the ground. He had a normal face that with a few minor scars and a few burn marks.

It seemed that he was kneeling before a woman in a cloack.

The cloack hid her face well and hence nothing was known about her appearance.

"What's the status?"

She asked.

"Young miss, we managed to lure him. Within a few days, he will be in our custody."

"Great, but while catching him, do behave respectfully with him, for he is someone whose status is far above yours."

"Roger that, any other commands?"

"No, you are dismissed."

The mascot performer turned around and started walking away.

He then stopped and looked behind once.

"Excuse me young miss."

"What?"

"You said that guy belongs to a class even higher than me, how is this even possible? You know, he is a complete idiot!"

The woman than seemed to have frozen.

Red coloured light started radiating around her.

"Could you please repeat?"

"I said that he is completely inferior to me.."

BOOOM!

A huge energy wave erupted from within the hands of the woman.

It came further tearing up the flesh of the man.

Blood spattered all around.

He was sent flying.

Only after getting pushed away to a long distance, did he stop.

Plop.

He fell to the ground.

With great effort, he somehow opened his eyes.

And the moment he did so, the woman in the cloack appeared before him in an instant.

His eyes showed a great ammount of fear.

The woman held his collar tight and brought him near. She then pursed her mouth.

"Don't you dare to ever again disrespect the.."

She inhaled fresh air.

"Just why am I explaining it to you, DIE!"

She pulled her hand backwards and it shit forward abruptly, making a large hole in the body of the man.

She then pulled her hand out of the body of the man.

"Nitwit!"

She wiped off the blood smeared on her hand and glared back at the dying man.

BOOM!

The man died just by a glare.

**************

Chris parked his bike by a tall street light pole by the road.

He turned around to see the stall.

But, to his surprise, there was no stall over there.

"What?" Chris's face an expression of depression and shock.

Perhaps, he might have been scammed.

Afterall, how could one go to a faraway country just by purchasing a normal can of tin costing only a few bucks?

But still, Chris had put his hopes up.

Now, seeing his hopes drowning like this, he felt a slight disappointment.

But then, someone shouted at him from behind.

"Sir, what are you doing here at this time?"

Chris turned around to see a man.

"Do I know you?"

"Of course you know me, don't you remember, the lucky draw that day?"

"Ohh, so it was you."

Said Chris.

Chris felt a little awkward.

The voice of this person didn't seem to match that of the one whom Chris had met yesterday. And he really was a different person, as the original one had died a long time ago.

But still, now that he knows about the lucky draw, so he must be the guy.

"What is your purpose of visit, sir?"

"I just wanted to check if there are any procedures that require me to be present here."

"Yes, there is one. We need your signature on this document." Saying so, the man took out a piece of paper from a suitcase in his hand.

Chris was taken aback.

'Was there a suitcase in his hand? I didn't see it before.'

"Okay, give it to me, I will read it and sign it."

Chris received the papers from the hands of the man.

"See you later."

The man saw Chris leaving.

"Hah, he almost had me."

The man let out a sigh.

The same woman, with a cloack, appeared behind him.

"It is very easy to fool him" She chuckled.

"I heard that you killed an underling of mine whom I sent to assist you."

The man said with a serious expression etched on his face.

The woman replied.

"I am not in the mood of giving you an explanation."

"Okay, no problem. Just let it be."

The man said in a completely careless voice. He then continued his words, in a very serious tone this time.

"I wonder if our mission will be success."

The woman then gazed at him with a surprised expression.

"What? Why are you saying that? The difficulty level of this mission is the lowest!"

The man then let out a cold sigh.

"Yes, I do know that. But if he didn't fall for that trap, we will have to do it forcefully."

"I hope that doesn't happen."
