'hmmmm let's see I can choose near the lake and I would have fresh water but the forest is at least ten miles away and it would be hard to get building material could go with the mountains but it would be hard to get food and water the plains offer abundant farming land and suitable area to build but it leaves it hard to defend the forest has ample building materials hunting can do with a limited population and it offers a decent amount of defense hmm well if I want the best of all worlds and I think about the future and I grow the village I'm gonna make into a massive city I can start it off in the middle of the plains 2 and a half miles away from the river 6 miles from the mountains and 4 miles from the forest it will be hard in the beginning but it will be easier as the village grows and expands'
