"What have you done to her?" I detected a faint fear in his tone as I limped about, stuffing as much clothes as I could lay my hands on into an opened box on the bed. His cold eyes followed my difficult movements as he physically trembled. Geez Tiberius, it's not the end of the world already. "You've killed her huh? I was there for a moment and after I left you-"

"Oh Please Tiberius," I cut him off in irritation. He was behaving somewhat cowardly and it tipped me off. As I've been taught men were supposed to be strong, not womanly weak. "I didn't kill her, in fact she tried to kill me. I only did what I felt was right to save myself and she's not dead," I clumsily zipped the bag up. I felt like I needed to leave there that minute. Goodness knows I'll be counted among the dead if Lindsey meets me here when she awakes.
