Skyler's POV
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Corbin asked after our practice since Kevin was pissed with me because I forgot to invite him to come with us to our beach house.
"No, I wanted to have some rest. I didn't have enough sleep last night," I responded.
"Okay, I couldn't believe you will say no; you don't want to miss any party, Sky," he added, and I wanted to tell him I'd rather be with Selena, enjoy the rest of the night with her, and I felt so guilty that I ignored her text messages and I didn't even bother to call her.
"Are you okay? It seemed like you weren't your usual self during practice, you were silent, and the only reminder you are the best player in the city is the number of shoots you've got during practice." He declared, and I tapped his shoulder to assure him I was okay.
"All I need is some sleep, Corbin. Please tell the rest of our teammates I couldn't make it tonight." I responded as I slung my duffle bag on my shoulder.
