Chapter 11

It was a bright new day.

The first day of the week and the first week of the month.

Rose had slept like a log, she didn't know what time it was.

She didn't know what happened to make her sleep for so long.

She stirred and stretched herself tiny body.

Well, she wouldn't call herself tiny anymore as she's been adding a little bit of flesh.

Maybe more than a little bit of flesh in the right places.

She was loving her new body.

She stepped out of the room fully clothed.

She didn't turn to look at the bed twice , she didn't wanna remember what happened there last night.

She had completely soiled her clothes.

She's done something she never knew she could ever do.

Daniel did a lot of things to her last night.

He wasn't rough neither was he gentle.

She was still sore and weak, in fact she woke up tired.

All she wishes for is nothing more but to crawl back in bed and sleep the day out.

She was shocked when she woke up and Daniel wasn't in bed.

They'd spent the night together for the first time.

She was hoping to be the first to wake since he wouldn't let her go back to the room.

He had demanded that she stayed the whole night.

They even forgot dinner.

She was shocked Daniel wasn't in bed but was more shocked when she saw the whole family in chaos.

The whole family was there running around and setting things right and clean.

They were hundreds of workers dressed in uniforms going about their normal business.

She's never seen such scene before, she's never seen such number or workers in the villa before.

She's never seen so many people.

They were kids in the house too.

What was going on?

She never heard someone was planning a wedding.

No one told her about a party as they'd left the preparations to her.

She stood up the stairs watching everyone.

No one seems to notice her.

She walked down to kitchen to see Norah.

She will be the one to explain what was going on.

Of course, Norah was not alone, she was with a whole bunch of people.

The kitchen is big enough to accommodate a large number of people but Norah had somehow managed to work alone alongside Rose but today seems different.

The number of dishes on the kitchen island is too large for the whole family.

What is going on?

She thought about all the reasons that could lead to such arrangements but arrived at nothing.

The best she could do was wait for Norah.

When she got tired of waiting with nothing to do, she went to her room, bathed, changed and came back to the kitchen.

She quietly went back to the seat and sat.

She's been waiting for hours and Norah didn't seem to notice her.

That was not her Norah, she wouldn't ignore for the whole world.

She counted a total of 52 dishes as she waits for Norah.

That's a whole lot of food.

Are they hosting a party tonight?

No one told her about it.

Daniel didn't mention it and neither did Norah.

She must have dozed off when someone woke her up.

It was Norah.

"Why are you still here?" She asked

"What?" Dizzy Rose asked rubbing the last drop of sleep out of her eyes.

"Come now, your driver has been waiting for you" Norah said as she walks her out the front yard.

The sun was already setting when stepped outside.

She hasn't eaten anything yet and she still feels tired.

'If only I could sleep for one more minute' she wishes as she holds Norah.

"What's with the preparation, is someone getting married?" Rose asks Norah as they walked out the front yard.

That was a question she's been meaning to ask for a longtime.

"I'm surprised 'Daniel' didn't tell you" Norah replied with a great emphasis on Daniel.

"Tell me what?" Rose questioned yet again.

"Well if you must know , Angela is coming home tonight. That's why the whole family has been on their toes, that's how important she is" Norah spoke

She didn't feel remorse or pity for Rose.

"Norah, why didn't you tell me they've found Angela?" Rose asked

"What's going to happen to me now?"

"What do I do?"

"Daniel didn't tell me she's coming home"

"No one mentioned her name or homecoming party to me"

"No one told me anything "

Rose queried as fresh tears stained her cheeks.

She's done nothing but love the Agrestes, she loves and respects them as her family.

She does all she was asked to do.

She did everything accordingly.

She loved and obeyed everyone one of them.

She was happy that Angela's returning but no one bothered to tell her.

For get about the Agrestes but Norah? Why didn't she tell her?

"Why didn't you tell me Norah?"rose asks for the second time.

"I would have told you if you wasn't hanging around Daniel. You would have found out if you weren't so invested in bedding your brother-in-law!!!" Norah screamed at Rose.

Rose was shocked to hear the word bedding her brother-in-law.

That's what Daniel is .

But how did Norah found out?

Does Daniel kiss and tell?

"But how?""

"The walls have ears and so do humans. I hope to meet you at their wedding " Norah dismissed her and walked back inside.

Rose entered the passenger's seat feeling dejected and lonely.

So this is it?

So, this is the end?

She never got a proper goodbye.

She was just sent home in a cab and all she has was her cellphone and the clothes she had on.

"Where are you going miss?"

The driver's question brought her back to reality.

She was so lost in thoughts.

She doesn't even know where to go.

She'd lived in the villa for too long and most probably forgot who she was.

She is an orphan who was partially adopted by the Nadis family as their half daughter and laborer.

She had nowhere to go.

She's already in her mid twenties which means the orphanage might not take her back.

"Take me to St. John's orphanage " she replied as the car drove away.

She was going to persuade them to take her back.
