Wartime is the war between men and goblins. This story is about an epic battle that will change the world. Horoku, a solo fighter who only fights for himself and tries to find answers about his identity. Horoku is a 17-year-old boy wearing a black hooded jacket, black hair and brown eyes that survived the war. He is a boy who is not very easy to trust everyone and does not like to be on any team. He struggled just to find an answer about his identity. He only has spears and swords made of crystals by the Elves. Luna, a 17-year-old black-haired girl wearing a hooded jacket and a witch. She liked Horoku without realizing it and was followed by Yamada, Horoku's best friend. Yamada is the same boy as Horoku and Luna. A man is wearing a white armor with a red robe on his back with white hair. A loyal fighter but, he will do something bad to all humans, Elves and Mage because his loyalty will not last. Ayabe, the same age as the three of them but he's an Elve. Brown hair, wearing a black armor and even a cousin to Horoku. He is the Lord and king of the hidden kingdom, waiting for the time to rise again. This is a story about a boy ... a boy who wants to save his family and save the world from destruction. My name is Horoku and I'm a solo fighter. Its been 4 years after started the war between mankind and goblin. This is a story about a boy that keep on and on in search for all the answer about who and what he is and that boy is me.
Mankind have been fight for 4 years using all weapons they have like sword, spear, axe and bow because guns and technologies all has been destroyed to dust.
As for the goblin, they been hiding in the shadow for centuries from mankind since before the war started. Goblin are monsters that hated human for centuries until they declared war upon human in other to destroy them once and for all. In other to survive, mankind had to fight these monsters in order to protect their family from these monsters.
I...Horoku the solo fighter only fight for my self to survive in this battle. I fight alone because I don't want all of my friends to get injured in this fight or worse get killed. This is a story about a teenager who struggle to protect his family from the war. A war between goblins and mankind.
Rain falls and the lightning strike, I rest in a cave...sitting in front of the fire. Suddenly two strangers came. I raise my sword in order to defend myself then I realised that he is my old friend along with his guard. So I put down my sword and let them in. This old friend, his name is Yamada a fighter and standing beside him is his friend Gendou. I ask Yamada,
"so....what bring you come here Yamada-kun?"
" Our leader Tanake send me to you to inform you that he want you to join our troop" Yamada answered.
" I know that you don't like to be to pick any side but maybe this choice may bring you some new change" Yamada worried.
But I refuse and I say " I already told you...I am not interest in joining your troop".
" But...but." Yamada surprised.
" Very well then I'll be going. Nice to see you old friend. Take care of yourself"
They left and go back to their troop and as for me, I continued on my journey away from my people so they will no longer bother me and get killed in my path.
In the morning, I wash my sword beside the pond when a movement behind me. I turned around to see if there any animal or creature behind but there is nothing but only an arrow stuck on the three and another one on the ground. Then, I saw a shadow pass aside me trying to avoid itself from being hit by the arrows.
So I go after the shadow and find out what's going on. In the middle of the bandit road I realised that the shadow was a girl defending herself from the goblins. The girl is a friend I knew, Luna the mage. l hide myself in the bush watching them fighting. Luna is a mage and my old friend and she is also the strongest mage I have ever seen. She has a long straight black hair, wearing a jacket and has blue eyes.
The goblins fire at her with dozen of arrows. She manage to avoid it and then she jump up to the sky and shoot the goblin with her dangerous power called " Falling Star " and all of the goblin destroyed by her power all except one standing up and take it spear. Raised it and try to take life from behind.
I jump of the bush and save her from the goblins. I raised my sword and my spear I hit it hard and knock it down. But that did not stop it from rise up and it hold it sword preparing to attack again. Then, the last goblin spoke " Mortal, give me the mage or you will pay the same price with her ".
I said to the goblin " In your dream. If you want to get through her! you have to get through me!!".
The goblin pissed and raised it sword. I swing my sword try to protect Luna because I have promised to everyone. I promise to everyone that I will never lose everyone I love including her. Suddenly, inside me...I feel something. It almost felt like anger, love and hate inside me that make me strong. When I swing my sword, the impact of the sword hit the shield of the goblin and break it to splinter.
Luna just standing there watching me fighting. She was surprised after seeing me fighting. Her hair blows by the wind and the Sakura flower fall down. She whisper my name.
" Horoku.... "
