Fixing My Heart
It's been two months and twenty three days after the contract was signed. Now only a week was left for it to dissolve.
In the beginning they both just wanted somehow to end this relationship, but now....none of them wants it to end.

"How is she?"
Keren sat beside him.
"Not any better" he replied.
She slowly moved closer, approached his hands. Entangling her fingers with his, sounding most affectionate she said,
"It's all right Chris, it'll be okay...I'm gonna be with you"
He turned to her. Even with teary eyes, she managed to show up a pleasant smile. She was trying so hard to make him feel better.
"Can you do me a favour?" he asked.
"Anything" she replied.
"Can you stay with me tonight?"
Her heart trembled. These where those pretty words that she wanted to hear.
"Sure..." she answered.
He made his way into the bed sheets leaving space for her. She gently lay beside him.
He turned towards her side and hugged her. He could feel her warmth and cuddled to it.
Each second her heart was rising and rising. It was the first time that he was this close. He lay his head below her chin, partially on her shoulders. She put her arms around him, giving him all her warmth.
She could feel his deep breaths touching her bare shoulders. She could feel the pain in his heart, which actually made more tears roll down her eyes.
For a moment she couldn't believe that the man resting in her arms now, had once made her cry a whole night. He, who didn't even look properly at her, had now asked her to sleep with him!
She realised what this whole thing turned out to be. She realised that she had fallen in love at last.
She took one of her hands to touch his brown hair. She ran her fingers through it. They were smoother than they appeared.
Suddenly there was a feeble voice.
"St...ay.... with...me.....fo..rever"
She smiled.
No matter how much he made her cry. In the end he made her so happy, which became the most delightful moment of her life.
