I Got Trolled by a God

*Year 2250*

It is a gloomy night and it's almost past twelve o'clock in the evening. People are already asleep wanting to rest from an exhausting day.

The quiet street is filled with deafening silence until loud footsteps cover the place.

Arthur gasping for air "What… the… heck..!" He shouted.

"Are you... f*cking ninjas..!? Why are you… chasing me..!?".

A group of people in black outfit are chasing him. He doesn't know why they want to kill him. "You should have sold your item when he asked you to." Answered by one of them.

Arthur remembers a young man named Prince trying to buy his legendary item in the game. Prince threatened Arthur. But Arthur just gave him a middle finger before leaving the area.

"Prince..?" Arthur says while panting.

The assassins gives him silence for an answer but he already knows himself that he's right.

'I will die here if I won't find any possible way to escape.' Arthur thought.

Until he found a dark alley that caught his attention.

He quickly goes on that dark alley and stopped running while hiding among the shadows. Holding his breath, he quickly thinks of the next thing he needs to do.

The assassins pass him by suddenly after awhile, they realized that he is gone and the sound of his footsteps stopped "He must have escaped! He's not that far. Find him and kill him!" said one of the assassins.

When Arthur heard that, his heartbeat ran rapidly; sweating coldly all over his body 'I will not die as a virgin' a determined look shows on Arthur's face.

After five minutes of hiding, Arthur heard the footsteps behind him. He looked back and he sees one of the assassins. 'Oh oh! Here we go again. Run!'.

Arthur quickly runs again. One of the assassins continued to chase him while contacting the group using a walkie talkie to inform them.

"He's here at the fourth alley. Quickly and intercept him.".

"Copy that.".

After the assassin contacted them. He gets his shurikens and throws it to Arthur.

When Arthur looked back and sees it, his pupil dilates and he quickly rolls to dodge the incoming shurikens. "F*ck! They really are ninjas!". He showed his middle finger to the ninja and started to run again.

Having been chased for ten minutes. Arthur keeps looking for a way out but a predicament event foresaw when a shadow entered his vision.

The assassins intercepted him and attacked him at the same time. The one slashes him on his leg and the other tries to pierce his chest with his knife.

*Aggghhh!*

Arthur's leg is now bleeding. He tried to dodge the incoming knife on his chest but the pain of his leg forbids it.

The assassin's knife pierces him on his chest slowly.

*Agh...*

Arthur coughs blood and looks at his killer. His eyes loses its focus and then a glimpse of memories has flashedback in his mind.

*** Flashback Start ***

Faking her sweetness to Arthur "Ahh babe you're so handsome! You defeated the boss alone. What did you get from it?" Joyline said.

"I know right?! Here it is babe!" Posing like an anime character. Arthur showed his legendary item loot to his girlfriend.

"Kyaah! Is that a legendary...??"

'I will tell it to Prince and he will be mine kyaah!' Joyline thought

"Uh huh" Arthur nods like a cool anime character.

*** Flashback End ***

'So they are the reason… I'm really a fool… a genius… and a virgin…'.

After his last thought Arthur died.

After a while, Arthur heard a loud laughter coming from a voice of a teenager. He opens his eyes and sees a pure white surrounding... a white human shape with at least four feet of a height jump scared him.

"Hahaha! You are really funny Arthur… "

"A fool, a genius and a VIRGIN! Hahaha!" The human shaped thing imitates him and fell after a good laugh.

Confused Arthur checks his stabbed wound but fails to see it. Then checks his surroundings and finally returned his eyes to that human shaped thingy with questioning eyes.

** Arthur's vision is starting get clearer and clearer..

"Ok ok I'll answer your questions. Btw I can read your mind so I'll start.".

** Arthur is trying to figure out who's talking but all he can see is a girl that looks godly odd.**

Meanwhile she created a whiteboard out of nowhere and started writing like a professor teaching his student.

"First, I'm a god but not THE God that you're thinking." the mysterious god stopped and waited for Arthur to process what she said.

"Second, this is not THE heaven.. this is my place. You can call it MY home. MINE, not yours of course"

"And lastly, yes you're dead... Any questions?" The mysterious god said.

Arthur raises his hand and continues on his question "Why am I here and who are you?".

the mysterious god nods and says " Good question… For your first question I pulled you here in my space and second, who I am is not important but I had been watching your life for my own entertainment.".

Hearing what she said Arthur palpitates out of anger and shouted "FOR ENTERTAINMENT YOU SAID?! What's so entertaining about my life?!".

the mysterious god already predicted Arthur's reactions so she restrained him from talking and continued to talk. "I'm not finished yet my dear. I'm talking about your talent in VR gaming. You see it's quite boring here and your adventures entertains me.". She noticed that Arthur is already calm so she continued talking

Arthur cries as he recalls all the hardships he had gone through, family and friends that he will never see again.

The mysterious god has been reading Arthur's mind and said "You know I can reincarnate you to your past… But in one condition." she smiles innocently to get Arthur's trust.

Arthur cries stopped when he heard what she said and replies "What condition is it?".

"I want you to sing and dance like you used to.".

She giggled while recalling his singing and dancing moment.

Arthur got shy of what she said and asks "Are you serious? I just died and cried just a moment ago.".

"Well if you don't want it… Bye bye reincarnation I guess?" Teasing Arthur.

"Ok ok what's the song" Stretching his body.

Waiting for her to pick a song.

But she just kept smiling with a death aura in her background.

He shivers when he saw her smile well... He cannot do anything but to start dancing.

Arthur blushes and accepts the compliment then replies to her "Can you reincarnate me now?".

She giggled because Arthur missed something "I can. But first, I said to sing and dance… Aaaand you only danced. Sooo…" Circling her finger like she's thinking.

Arthur got nervous and realizes his mistake.

She smiled and said "I will return you one year before the game was released. So you got a ten-year experience ahead of the others but...".

Then she quickly says the rest "You will only feel like it's a dream and your ten years of experience is not complete just because you didn't sing hahaha!".

She quickly throws a goodbye to Arthur and casts a magic spell.

Arthur eyes widened in shock and thought "F*ck I just got trolled by a god". Then his vision blackened out.
