Chapter 20: Treasure Hunting Begins!

After killing the elites of Kingdom, it has already been 10 days.

Today, Alard was standing infront of his window in the office. Watching the beautiful sky, cloud dancing in the wind, lovebirds chirping together, when a big predator swallowed the lovebirds on this big jaw.

"Read the report. I am hearing." he said, as Froza took a scroll out and began reading it.

"Yes, Sir! Good! Good! I knew you won't let me down. I already knew a rebellion was going on, but didn't knew who they were. Now, thanks to you I know who the fuck are the rebellion! Margrave Steelshield huh~ Anyway! leaving the rebellion, The matter about a treasure in my Empire, I order you to find out about it! If you find it you will be heavily merited! "Hm, So have you found the cave." Alard then asked, while Froza with a surprising smile nodded.

"Good, Then tell Hina and David to gear up, Froza you are not coming with us this time ... Kingdom soldiers are the invading the plain, I want you to keep an eye in there." Alard said, while alittle displeased she agreed to order.

"And ...The adventurers, have you hired them. We aren't taking our soldiers in cave, They are specialized in fighting in battleground, not in limited spaces."

"Yes! I have hired Two Mithril adventurer group. I hope they are enough."

"Good, who are the group's?"

"Dark Horses and Blood Roses, Sir!" said Froza, while Alard was alittle surprised hearing a familiar name, but Mithril rank was high rank in Adventurer Guild.

"Dark Horses leader is Kavok. A Champion, his team have five members."

"Blood Roses leader is Katherine. A dual-blade Swordmaster, am I wrong anywhere?" Alard asked, as he have been reading all about adventurers, nobles and royalties in his free time.

This Kavok guy is the Champion of a Competition held by Empire, to know the strongest warrior of West.

"Y-Yes, Commander it is as you say."

"Good then, Tell Hina and David to gear up quickly, we have a treasure hunt to go on." Alard said, as he also wanted to see what the treasure was, if useful ...he will request his teacher to give him the treasure.

"Yes, As you command." said Froza leaving the room, as Alard once again began gazing sky .. counting birds.

Soon, infront of Alard, Hina and David were on there one knee.

Hina was wearing a light steel armour, as she was a High Druid ..she didn't needed heavy protection gear, she had a staff on her right hand, while potion full of bags in her waist.

David was same too, he was only wearing a steel chest-plate, while leaving other area unprotected, his sword was hanging on his waist, he had few daggers hidden in his sleeves.

"Commander, We are ready." both subordinates said, as both of them were now ready.

"Good, Let's go then ...those adventurers have also arrived." Alard said, as he walked out of the base.

Where his eye met a familiar rosy-red haired women, with a white blindfolded priestess following her behind, five more females following.

As, she was currently talking with a man of tall stature, he was wearing Iron chest-plate and gaunlet, while an heavy sword hung behind his back, he was Kavok.

"Greeting adventurers, I hope you had a nice trip to our city." Alard greeted them, as there attention finally landed on Alard, who was wearing a black-shirt and gaunlet, while he had a long blade hanging in his waist.

"We greet, Commander Alard! It has been long since our last met, I have been missing you every night." suddenly Katherine exclaimed, making Hina suddenly blush, while David scoffed "Barbarians".

As Kavok body slightly flinched, it seems he has a crush on Katherine.

"Mind your manners Katherine, We shouldn't be offending a military officer." Kavok quickly getting near her, whispered in her ear.

"Come on, Kavok ...Our Lord here is pretty chill, I got to know him during his first expedition. I have to say, It was honour to follow young lord in his first expedition." said Katherine, as she winked toward Alard, while Kavok made a displeased face just for a second while soon returning back into a normal.

"Oh, Lady Katherine ..It indeed have been long since we meet, and I am actually honoured to know such a beautiful lady remembers me in nights." Alard replied, as Katherine was surprised.

'When did he got so matured? I still remember he used to blush when I teased him back in that border forest.' thought Katherine, as she made a happy expression outside.

"Commander, You haven't reached the age to ..you know, You may have problems rising it." suddenly David walked behind Alard, as he whispered.

"Shut it David! If I want I can make three ladies faint in bed right now!" Alard exclaimed, while trying to ignore the subject.

"Why don't we get going after the introduction ...We are getting late, We have to return before the nightfall."

"I am Alard Von Auguste, The thirdborn of Viscount House of Auguste, Current Legion Commander of South-West Border. Some also gave me the title Hero of West." Alard introduced, while Hina and David followed, as the both adventurer group also followed.

"Good, then now let's head toward our destination, You adventurers are promised as the Quest board said ...You will be given 30% of the share of hunt, and 30,000 golds." asked Alard for one last time, while the others nodded and began to move.

When, Alard looked at forward slightly muttering.

Sorry guys, For not uploading in these days...

Just so you know the story isn't dropped.

I am just suffering from flu, and have been bedridden.

God, You don't to know how much my back was hurting ...It was like some monkey had hit my back with rod, It hurted too much! But now I am getting better and for some reason, My taste bud have messed up 😠

Even my favourite Pizza tastes bitter now! Please I want to eat foods with taste, But no! Everything I eat now tastes bitter!

Anyway, I just wanted to say, I am back ...And I will do regular upload from now on.
