But let's lighten the mood. I'm Euphoria, or Euphy, a "True Love Enjoyer." This fanfiction, set in the world of the Seven Deadly Sins, when Meliodas dwelled among demons as the leader of the Ten Commandments. Because the author of the 7DS didn't really go into detail about this era, I've got a lot of freedom in how I play around with the characters previously existing and the ones I create to change up the story.

I watched as the warmth ebbed from her body, my gaze locked on her captivating lilac eyes—the remnants of her etched in my mind despite time's erosion.

Gently, I laid her to rest amidst a bed of purple blooms, under the sun's tender caress—a fitting tribute to one of the few I truly loved.

My eyes then fell upon my stained attire, my tongue tasting the familiar tang of iron as I wet my dried lips. Nearby, the creature she left behind whimpered, its cries a symphony of sorrow.

Initially, anger or frustration stirred within me as it cried like it was the only thing that had ever experienced sadness. Yet, as I lifted and cradled the infant against my chest, meeting its lilac gaze, negativity faded, replaced by a strange smile.

"Sweetling," I whispered, lips brushing against her ear. "It's okay... You're a person now."
