MISAMO's New Manager

He disregard his phone that keeps vibrating. He rode the train and just gets home.

When he finally gets home, he tossed his bag and took off his coat before finally laying down on his bed.

Then his phone vibrates again, it was MO and has 44 missed calls, he finally picks up.

"What is it that you want this time?" he has an annoyed tone, "Don't yell at me, Don't go this Friday" Momo tries her best stop him.

"I might not even get the job, so don't worry too much. It's like you keep bugging me so I would really go" Yuji said teasing her again.

He heard a soft scream, like when someone screamed on a pillow, he had a small laugh. "You're so annoying" she yelled before hanging up.

Yuji smiled and looked at the 44 missed calls, "Does she hate me that much?" he stated while trying to chnage the name of her number "What should I save your name as?" he thinks carefully.

"How about this?" he typed in MOOOOOOMO "Nah, Loid might notice" he deleted and type in Peach Vendor, "Perfect" he said before dropping his phone down and preparing to take a shower.

After showering, he grabbed his poem notebook by the lowest drawer.

He smiled and started writing, it took him 4 hours just to finish a 4 stanza poem.

Then he snapped his fingers, "Am I going crazy?" he asked himself as he smiled in front of his notebook.

He dialed Loid's number to get the events of today out of his system, "Hey Dude" he said as soon as his phone showed that Loid picked up.

Then a panicking voice answered, "Hey Dude, on my way what you need?" the voice on the line said.

"W-wait what??" Yuji was confused, "Wait you're not in trouble?" Loid asked confused catching his breath.

"What?! No!, what the" Yuji answered, "You're being weird all day" Loid replied.

The sound of keys dropping sounded on the line, "What's wrong with you?" Loid said, "Huh? Just because I called you, doesn't mean I'm in trouble, how is that weird?" Yuji stated.

"Oi Yuji, you DIALED my number" Loid said emphasizing the word dialed.

Yuji think carefully, "Have I not dialed it once?" he asked. "Check your logs" Loid replied before dropping the call.

"Have I really not?" he asked himself and checks his logs, to his surprised he never really dialed it once.

"It was suspicious" he said before grabbing his books and pens to start studying.

He puts on his headphones and started listening to MISAMO's songs while he solve his assignments for the day.

The alarm on his phone rang and it was already time for bed.

"Time really goes fast when I'm studying" he held on to his forehead, "Why did I take engineering in the first place?" he said to himself before laying down in bed.

He stared at the ceiling with his arms on his belly, then he smiled. He suddenly realize what he did, "Ehh what is wrong with me?" he said before covering himself with the blanket.

Morning came and as usual he goes into his routine and get ready for school.

Yuji doesn't have the habit of checking his phone when he wakes up instead he turns it off and continue with his routine. After eating breakfast, he starts preparing his bag and opened his phone.

And upon opening, tons of messages and missed calls appeared. "Huh? What's going on?" he asked, while scrolling on his logs. There was a call from Peach Vendor and Loid, there was also a company number.

"Kinda weird" he said but brush off the idea and started to walk outside, he rode the bus and arrived on campus.

Just as he was about to set foot someone pullled him into the shrubs, "Hey, what the? who's there?" he said with his hands up ready to fight.

"Sheesh calm down, it's us" Mendel said, "Why did you have to pull me here?" he said with annoyance in his tone.

"Check articles on your phone" a female voice said and it was Mina, Yuji seems to get more composed. "Okay" he said before opening his browser.

"Wai- What?" he yelled but Mendel shut his mouth, "Dude stay quiet, reporters are lurking around" he said with his head up looking around.

Yuji noticed the photo of him and Momo holding hands posted with an article title of 'In Love with a fanboy?' "Who wrote this? and who took this?" he asked but Mina just gestured her hands towards a car.

Mendel just nodded, "Wait I'm confused" Yuji said and Mendel laughed "Just get yourself in the car, I'll talk to your teachers today" he assured Yuji.

Yuji agreed but was still confused, as they get in the car started to drove.

All of a sudden Mina asked a question, "So what is it with you two?" she asked so bluntly, "Mina-unnie there is nothing between me and Momo" he explained.

"Okay, Continue?" Mina said offering him a bottled water, "Continue?" Yuji was confused.

"You're really just like her" Mina sighed, "Ahh you mean about the photo" Yuji finally caught up.

Yuji clearly explained what happened, "Good, now I have a plan" Mina said with confidence.

"A plan?" Yuji asked, "Skip school for the day and let's discuss at the company on how to fix this" Mina said in a commanding sweet tone,

Yuji just nodded, then a text came thtough his phone.

'Don't be afraid of her, she won't kill you HAHAHAHA'

It was a text from Mendel.

Yuji replied,

'Is she capable of that?'

Mendel just replied with a reaper emoji.

Yuji felt cold sweats.

Few minutes have passed and they reached the back of the company.

Yuji finally understood the situation.

They go inside and came across Momo and Sana.

Momo has an annoyed look on her face, "Why didn't you answer your phone?" she said,

"Shh it's about to start" he said as someone in a suit came in.

They started an emergency meeting regarding the scandal, Mina stood up and explained what had happened, Momo also shared the same scenario.

"So our plan should either be let it slide or post a public statement saying that Momo was having a jogging session with her trainer and was just trying to push her potential" Mina suggested.

Everyone seems to agree with the latter, then suddenly Yuji stood up, "Don't get me wrong your plan sounds awesome but reporters will find ways and they would look into me I'f I'm really a personal trainer" Yuji explained.

"You have a great physique so there's a big chance that they will deduced that you're a trainer" Mina replied.

"Some will but some won't, I am the ace of the engineering department. Many would think that i am not that healthy since it looks like I dedicate my life to studying" he replied.

"So any suggestions?" Mina asked, "How about this? Give me the offered job and released a public statement that I'm the current manager of MISAMO" he said.

Mina smiled and agreed, Momo was about to complain but Sana held her back. "Sounds like a great idea" Sana said.

The people attending the meeting agreed, "Sir, I think a public press conference of MISAMO would be the most efficient" a guy suddenly said.

"I already thought about that as I'm walking at the parking lot, based from articles and past same scenarios it isn't really a good idea for me to speak about it in public." Yuji explained.

"Scandals like this have occurred with your other groups right, it would look like were defending too much and the people would be suspicious" he continued.

"Let's persuade the public that I indeed was the manager, an article was hold during the time I was stabbed right" Yuji said.

Everyone nodded, "Release it with a title "A manager that protected the Idols" he said, "But wouldn't it be too late for that" Mina blurted out.

"It wouldn't be if we say that I just went out of recovery and Momo was just helping me to walk on that photo" Yuji said ending his statement.

Mina, Momo and Sana smiled, "Welcome Manager" Sana said, everyone agreed and the meeting was adjourned. 

"I take back what I said, you're quick witted" Mina said.
