Chapter 6

After we arrived at the hotel from the long drive and parking our rides in the parking lot we all grabed our saddle bags that always has at least two changes of clothes for if we stop for rest. This waay we are not digging through or go bags for what we need.

"Colt grab Trishes bag and it looks like dad grabbed your saddle bags already," I said. "David give me your saddle bags and carry Trish in to a room I will sleep in the same room. Lets find out the room situation so we can get settled and some rest."

"Phoenix the only had at least three rooms," dad said as he approach. "In each room there is two beds each. I took a look and some of us can double up on the beds."

We can work with that dad," I responded. "Trish, David, Colt, and I will be in one room. Dad, Dominic, and Ralph will take another room. In the final room will be Jake, Dylan, and Blake. Will that workfor everyone?"

"Pheonix, why are you having more with you and Trish?" Dad asked.

"I did this to make Trish as comfortable as possible," I explain. "I always have a mix of wolf and human in the rooms. This way it makes a better security system. Also i want to have the middle room and you guys get the out side. I want Trish to feel as safe as possible. Dad I know you do not like the fact that there will be guys in the room with me but it has to bedone this way. Trish has connected to both Colt and David as if they are her brothers. So Having a room with me is just to make her feel even more safe do to the fact that I am the alpha."

"Alright," dad sighed. "I may not like it but at least you are doing it for a reason. Well lets get to bed we have another long day a head us."

Off to our rooms we went. Colt gentally laid Trish on the bed and covered her up. As we got ready for bed Trish started to whimper. We all ran to her side to make sure she was okay. From what we saw she was in a niightmare.

David and Colt both shifted into their wolves and snuggled up to Trish. I crawled up behind her and wrapped my arms around her. Since the guys were in their wolf form they figure it would make Trish feel better instead of having a guy next to her. She started to settle down as she felt the wolves and a female behind her.

'Go to sleep guys,' I mind linked. 'It looks like we are going to be sleeping like this to keep her calm and relaxed. Let's hope she doesn't wake up screaming.'

That being said we all fell asleep as comfortable as we could get with four bodies on the bed.

Banging on the door at three thirty in the morniong woke us up. For one thing I knew we had to plan out the day.

'David and Colt stay with Trish I will update you as soon as I know what is going on,' i told them.

In to the shower I went with my clothes. Even though I would prefer to do my usual morning routine but I will make that up after we have got everything taken care of.

"How is Trish?" Dad asked.

"Well other than her nightmares and whimpering at before we made it to bed," I said. " She is fine. it took the bys in their wolf form and me snuggled to her back to relax her. after that she had no nightmare and slept comfortable. I know that Uncle Rick would be best to help her out. She needs to have someone to just listen and help her over come this. Especailly for her baby. Honestly I believe that with everything that happened to her it may take time for her to become an exordinary women. Other than that we slept peacefully. She is going to struggle a lot and with the baby I can already see that my team becoming very protective to her. In fact some already refer to her as sister. So I see that any guy is going to have a hard time getting near her."

"I already see her as a daughter just like i do with you," dad said. "She needs all the support she can get. Also I think giving her a secutary job would work unless you had something else in mind."

"Actually I was thinking of putting her ahead of the house hold. In charge of keeping everything running smoothly," I told him. But also having her as a securtary is good as well. but lets give her that choice. I am however giving her the job to furnish the whole house. The office and all the gym equipment I have already list out. As for the rest I think I will let her do. This way she feels like she has an input to the family."

"That is a great idea and approach," dad said. "You are at least trying to make her feel comfortable and safe. Also giving her a choice in her life make her feel at least some control in her life. Great approach so far. All the rest of us can do is just be there and encourage her to do what she wants."

"There is one thing I am not going to change my mind about," I said to my dad. " As soon as she can and it will be after the baby is born. She is going to learn to protect herself. That is one thing I am not going to slide by. This way if she finds someone to spend the rest of her with the guy is not going to harm her. also she will always be apart of my pack no matter what."

"So that is the only non-choice she will have?" Dad asked.

"As far as I am concerned about everyone should at least know how to protect themselves. I do not care if you want to depend on a man to do so but what if you were in a position that your man was not there. Than what? Who will protect you than? This is why I am not going to leave Trish defensless," I informed my father. "If more women jion my pack they will also learn to protect themselves as well. This will just be a safety procaution. If there is no men around to protect them than they can protect themselves and this is not just for my piece of mind but for their men folk as well. By knowing that their woman can protect herself if need or until they arrive to take the threat out. You and my uncles always said to be prepared for the worst and that is what I want everyone to be."

"I see your point my dear daughter," he said proudly. "I feel like I hav raised a daughter wise beyond her years and you have proven your skills in leadership over ther time. Also you have given your uncles and I something more than just being family. You have given us hope for the shildren that do not have a family. We will sit down and talk about that later. You do need to wake up Trish and the boys. It is getting to that point to finish the last of our work and start on getting what we came here for done."

"I honestly think it will be a while before she is fully healed, dad. She has nightmares and does not trust males easily," I told dad. "Also it may be a while before she is fully back to how she was before. I just pray that we can help her enough so she can be how she was but with fire. Knowing that she will never be the same but for her to be herself and know she has a family behind her is what i hope helps her heal. Well I better go and wake up Trish. The guys woke up when you knocked and went into protect mode ready to attack. Glad you did not step in."

I walked back to the room to find colt sitting in a chair all dressed and ready for the day but as for David. Well let say Trish was holding onto him in wolf form as he just laid there. He looked up to me with the help me eyes. Trish let out a whimper and tighten her hold on david. So she is hving a bad dream.

Slowly walking up next to the bed I sat down next to her.

"Trish, it is time to get up. Trish if you squeeze any harder my beta you may actually have him pass out. Trish you are safe. come on girl wake up," I gently touch and talk in a soft voice. "Trish, I need you to get up. You can rest after we go to get breakfast. Come on girl time to get up."

Slowly Trish stirred and woke up. As she slowly gain her barings, it dawned on her she had a wolf in her arms. Confused she looked around and saw colt and me.

"Why is one of us in wolf form?" she asked as she released David.

"Well Trish you were having a nightmare and we all came to your side to comfort you. David and Colt went to their wolf form so if you woke up you would be less afraid. Also since you have had a bad experience with the males they thought you would be comfortable with them as wolf. I slept behind you in human form."

'Also so you would not wake up screeming for a guy sleeping next to you,' david interjects. 'I do not mind being your bed partner to comfort you. But i do mind waking up to being screemed at. In fact you were whimpering before we all merged and snuggled up to you. After words you settled down peacefully. it was after the knock and Alpha left that you grab hold of me. At the same time you started to kick out and Colt got the worst of that. He figured that having one of us as human may be a good idea.'

"Just before you came in i moved to the chair. Before that I laid on the other bed for a little while recovering my family jewals. I think I may be fine but please do not laugh if i am not walking right," Colt explained further. "man girl have you ever thought to play soccer? I think I can reproduce. Sorry my wolf is still in shock of what happened. But he understands that she was sleeping and propably responding to something more than just us."

"I am sorry," Trish cried out. "I heard the knocking and thought I felt a hand on my legs. That is why I lashed out. As for snuggling into David's wolf, I thought I had my stuff bear that is not as soft but one that I had when I was younger. I used to sleep with it every night. my parents got ride of it and now I even find a soft pillow in my arms. Never thought I would grab a hold of a wolf like that."

David came from inside the bathroom showered and dress.

"Trish," he started. "I know you are coping with everything that happen but I want you to know me and any of the boys would come to you. If it means you need a snuggle buddy in the form of a wolf we will let you have it. If you need a wolf bed partner we will do it. You need time to heal and if this is the best way right now for you to get there than so be it. I would prefer to have you nearly strangle me. Than having you wake up screaming from a nightmare. So cheer up Trish. You are appart of our family and we take care of family. Now You need to get ready. I laid out my hoodie and a pair of colts sweats. All you need to grab is a bra, underwear and socks. Go wash up and get changed."

"We are hoping that our clothes will at least help you settle down some," Colt explained. "Not to mention we are covering your sent with ours so no one will mess with you. In the rouge world David is known as Phoenix's right hand and I am known as her hidden knight. Any time the rouges catch our sent they stay away and that is what we want to accomplish."

"This way Trish you will be safe," I continued. "Rouges know of me but they fear me. only colts and David sent is known. Mine is not for no rouge has survive to tell anyone about it. Also you are going to be passager again and Colt is driving. After breakfast you get comfortalbe and sleep. the more rest you get the better. you need this and we can see that. once we finish what we need done than I will tell you a few choices you have. Oh and on another note you get to pick out everything for the house we are getting built. I have a few list already started for the office and gyms. everything else is up to you."

"You would let me do that?" trish asked.

"yes I would. Now go get ready," I tod trish. "We have a meeting to go to and it is with breakfast."

"Yes Alpha," Trish said as she walked to the bathroom with her under garments.

"Okay so I want Colt, Dominic and Blake watching out for Trish. If she needs to go to the bathroom let me know so I can go with her to make sure tht she is safe. Everywhere else her safety is your responsiblity. If we are in an area that we own and have secured than you do not need to get me to go to the bathroom. Do I make myself clear? " I stated to Colt.

"Yes Alpha," Colt said.

After about thirty minutes Trish came walking out of the bathroom dressed in what David left out for her. Also her hair was still a tangled messed. Colt immediatly grabbed her brush and had her sit in front of her. Watching everything going on I saw how Trish did not notice that she had these boys wrapped around her fingers. they were whipped and did not know it but I know that they are doing this because they want to make her comfortable.

"Okay everyone else dad had got up and ready," I told them. "SO we need to head out gather everything. Oh. Trish we have went and got a futon for you because we are looking at camping out unless you think you can handle the ground. I made sure the Futon ws big enough for you and a wolf if need be. A;so I just want you to focus on you. your first priority is yourself no one else. Let Colt, Dominic, and Blake worry about your safety. One other thing you can choose to do anything you want but you will be learning how to protect yourself as well as fight. This will happen after the baby is born and old enough to be alone for at least two hours a day. This is one thing i am not going to let slide by. My reason is so you will not feel defensless ever again."

"I can do that," Trish said. "I have always wanted to learn how to fight and protect myself but my dad said women are to take care of the house and have children only. I have wanted to prove my father wrong so many times that I keep fighting to get from under him. But no matter what I could not for I always ran into someone to drag me back and dad would beat me bad everytime."

"Okay so you will start your training after the baby is born, you are healed and when you can be away for a while from your child. I am going to warn you that all the men who wok for my family business including my uncles and dad are going to be spoiling your child. Also we are family and you are now part of that family," I told trish as i finish putting all our things into our bags. While Colt finish her hair, all he did was brush it out and braided it.

"Okay we should be ready to go," David said after he grabed the last of the bags to take out to my dad's truck.

"Alright lets head to the local Cafe," i said. "That is where we are meeting the contract construction crew at."

Out the door we headed. as soon as we got to the parking lot I notice Blakes and Dominics bikes on the trailer along side Colts. They were standing by Trishes car waiting for them to come.

"We thought it would be best to ride in Trish's car. This way we can protect you betteras well," Blake said. "If you feel uncomfortable after we get to the dinner you tell us and we can get on our bikes and ride."
