A deadly desire

"I am going to tell her today!"

That was the only thing on Star's mind as he sprinted out of the cell block. 

Sweat drenched all over his overalls, and only lust was visible in his dark eyes.

At some point, he even released a lustful laughter that made him receive angry glances from the people who used to be his slaves.

Even so, they couldn't do a thing about it. He is still stronger than them.

Greeted by the same dark hall that was shrouded by the smell of rotten fish.

He declares, "I will go to you, darling."

After that, it didn't take a few seconds for the smile on his face to reach his ears.

"What are you doing here?"

He rushed towards the light brown-haired girl who was lying on the empty hall floor with ragged clothes.

"Hehehe, did the gods above finally answer my prayers."

Making sure he is the only inmate out of his block, he rushed over to the girl and carried her back to his cell.

"Damn it! We should quickly find a way to save both Encender and Tsuyoi."

I slowly walked out of the cell, listening half-heartedly to Rajah's complaints. It had been the same thing all night, and I had finally given up.

Thinking about Tsuyoi's last moments with us, I felt deeply bothered in my heart.

'I really saw something I shouldn't have.'

Rajah hit me in the back and yelled, "Tito, why don't you look worried at all?!"

'I do, but I just don't want to show it. I am more worried about Encender right now.'

'This sucks,' I muttered as I walked into the hall.

Nothing had changed from what I knew before. It was the same boring old scenery.

"Let's go where Star is. He really has gone overboard this time."

Rajah's face quickly scorned. "Why should I go see that man?! He tried to kill us, for crying out loud?"

"He has taken Encender hostage. Who knows what he might do to her? After all, he is insane."

At the end of my cold words, Rajah turned stiff as I made a left turn, going behind the Arcade Cube.

"I will kill that bastard!"

Again, I ignored the fallen Prince as I maintained my slow strides, while the prince walked faster. However, he soon reached a dead end.

"This is the football ground…" he muttered with a dead voice, "This is not the way to his block."

I walked into the bustling stadium, ignoring all the loud shouts coming from the male soccer players enjoying themselves.

My ears focused on the sound coming from the locker rooms, and all I could pick up on was the sound of Star giggling like the maniac he is.

"Why am I surrounded by this type of people?" I muttered under my breath.

Walking at the edge of the field, I looked at all the men who played the lovely sport.

They were from different cells, yet they possessed great teamwork one would admire.

'So this is how an adventure team should be.'

I didn't know what I was thinking, as I am the worst when it comes to teamwork.

I am a serpent who is better off alone. Even so, deep down, I wish to experience the life others do.

Prrr—! 

The loud whistle was blown after a dangerous tickle at the center spot is what pulled me out from my dark thoughts. 

I halted my steps and took my time to observe the free kick being taken by number ten in a light blue soccer jersey. 

Bang—! 

He kicked the ball, sending it flying towards the goal post leaving all his teammates cheering in celebration. 

I myself had my mouth dropped a bit from amusement. It would take someone with perfect control to make such a shot, something I don't possess at the moment. 

"Tsk, I would do that when I was just an infant," Rajah mocked with twisted lips. 

Just like all the times before, I didn't give him any mind. 'Can I also have that kind of control? To control my kicking strength like that.'

Thinking about it, I never engaged in learning sports, as part of my life included me being alone. 

'Should I join soccer?'

"Hey! What are you standing in a daze for?!"

The black-haired man's shout is what pulled me out of my daze. I continued my journey towards the locker rooms as the soccer players finished their celebration. 

Maintaining our silence, we reached the entrance where we were greeted by a one-armed, green-haired man walking towards the back. 

"Bastard!! Tell me where you hide Encender right now!!" 

Rajah roared as he pulled out a black, old version Beretta PX4 that didn't even fit in his palm. 

"Encender? Who the hell is that?" Star played like an idiot as he hid the swimsuit he had in his overalls before looking at us with a smile. 

"Who are you two guys? Are you the people who are after my wife?"

"What the hell?!" Rajah exclaimed with a stunned face. 

'I am sure he didn't run into Hein today. However, the hypnosis on him was passed on from Encender to the little Kazuma.'

I quickly made the deduction that someone wanted us to fight this idiot and find out the cause of Kontrolu's death, which unfortunately happened to be me.

Thanks to that, I was able to figure out a lot of things, including that he is the one who leaked Tsuyoi's information to Cain Harasat, a member of one of the noble families in this world.

"Haa..." I sighed with a smile.

Our confrontation with the prison guards was inevitable from the start.

I will worry about the world nobles in the future.

"Right now, we have to deal with this idiot," I said with a smile.

Star started shaping his blades into arms, as the pointed fingers pointed directly at us.

"I will kill you all for trying to hit on my way!!"
