Woes of Men

It had only been a few minutes ever since Jack and Henry had left. So, when they came back to the movie theater, they found that the movie had not yet started.

The four ladies on the other hand seemed to have gone out. Jack was quite curious about where they had gone, but still, the two of them still waited inside the movie theater.

The two waited, and about 10 minutes later, the ladies came back. Charlotte handed Jack a bag of popcorns, then gave another one to Henry.

Jack and Henry both received the popcorns, and began eating them immediately, leaving the ladies speechless.

Charlotte could not help but say, "The popcorns are supposed to be eaten during the time that the movie is running. Why are you eating them now?"

"Oh? I thought that you gave us to eat them." Henry responded.

In any case, this was actually the first time that the two of them were going to the movies. So, the moment that they were given the popcorns, they thought that they were supposed to be eaten at that moment. They never thought that they were supposed to be eaten during the time that the movie had started running.

Charlotte was left speechless by Henry's response. Nevertheless, she took out another two bags of popcorns and handed them over while saying, "I had suspected that something like this might happen. Well, I thought that you might actually end up spilling them, or you might think that the popcorns are enough.

Just continue eating the ones that you have already started. But make sure that for the last bucket of popcorns, you will only eat them during the time that the movie starts."

Henry and Jack both nodded, while taking the two buckets that were being handed over to them. Then, they continued eating, just while waiting for the movies to start.

As for the ladies, they thought that the two of them looked quite cute. After all, they seem to be quite clueless about these things. But they had already heard about Jack and Henry from Charlotte. So, they were not that much surprised, considering that they knew that this was the first time that Henry and Jack were coming to the movies.

The wait lasted for quite a while, before finally, the movie began. Considering that it was a horror movie, as time progressed, it kept on getting more frightening. And for the ladies, they could not help but scream occasionally, especially in occasions that they saw that zombies were eating flesh.

As for Henry, he could not help but feel that this was quite familiar. Even though he had never seen the area where the movie was being shot, still, the zombies were extremely familiar to him.

It was just that the zombies in the movie seemed a little dull as compared to the ones that they had encountered back in his world. But it seemed that despite this world not experiencing the apocalypse, they still had some fantasy about zombies.

As for Jack, he did not find the movie frightening at all. After all, to him, they were just ordinary zombies, and from the strength that they were being displayed to possess, they were not that much. He believed that he could deal with them with just a single punch.

But he understood that the strength of the zombies did not lie in the personal strength of each zombie. But instead, it lay in the advantage that they possess which was in terms of numbers. And other than that, it was the ability to infect other humans, turning them into zombies as well just from a single scratch or a bite.

The ladies kept on screaming, occasionally being a little exaggerated. This left both Henry and Jack a little speechless. But, there was nothing that they could do, considering that it was not just Charlotte and her group of friends, but instead, even some of the men around were actually screaming when a horrifying scene appeared.

The movie finally ended after over one and a half hours. It was only then that the people around inside the movie theater relaxed. To them, they felt that everything was extremely realistic.

After all, they could see things in 3D. And when a zombie charged towards them, they nearly thought that there was actually a zombie that was charging towards them, and some people had been nearly scrambling out of the movie theater.

People began chattering, discussing the horror movie that they had just watched. The four ladies were also included, discussing the parts that they found to be the most scary, and those that they found disgusting.

And when they asked Henry and Jack of their opinion, the two of them simply said that the movie was quite good. And that was it. This left the ladies feeling that the two were quite boring to watch movies with.

After getting out of the movie theater, they finally decided to go shopping. That was the part that Jack did not like. As for Henry, he was quite curious, considering that in his two lives, he had never actually gone shopping.

"Why does it seem that you don't want to go shopping? Is it not exciting? I heard that it is quite exciting to do shopping." Henry asked when he saw that Jack did not seem to be happy about going shopping.

"You think that it is exciting? Okay, I will let you take the lead. I will only be following behind you." Jack responded.

Even though Henry was confused, he did not find anything out of the ordinary from what Jack had said. So, the group of six went around and began shopping.

It was then that Henry finally understood the reason why Jack did not like going shopping. Well, it was not that Jack did not like shopping. It was just that he did not like shopping with ladies. And, there were four of them.

And to make matters worse, each of the ladies was quite rich. That implied that during the time that they were going around, the moment that they would find something that interested them, they would immediately purchase it.

And they found something that interested them in nearly every store that they entered. Sometimes, they even bought two items that looked almost the same, with just a small difference.

As for the shopping bags, who was supposed to carry all of them? Of course, it was those that were accompanying them. And, since Henry had taken the lead, he was currently carrying so many bags that he was nearly buried underneath them.

Henry could not help but say pitifully to Jack, "I'm nearly suffocating under these shopping bags. Why don't you help me with some?"

Despite the weight of the shopping bags, Henry who had gotten his strength increased did not feel the trouble carrying them. Instead, he was currently sweating, and felt that it was a little difficult for him to be able to breath, considering that he was having bags almost all around him.

Jack simply snickered, but was not showing the intention of helping Henry at all. Was he not excited to go out for shopping? Now, he was carrying many things that had been bought, but there was not even a single one that belonged to him.

As for the people around, including the four ladies, they could not help but continuously praise Henry.

"Henry, you are so strong. I never thought that you were this strong, just by looking at you." One of the ladies commented.

"That's right. Looks can be deceiving sometimes. Just look at how easily you are handling these bags. You don't even need help from Jack. You are so amazing!" Another one chimed in.

"Hehe, Henry, I believe that you have the strength of even lifting a car. It seems that you can allow us to continue shopping. We just have to find where to put the bags. That way, we can even buy everything in this mall, and you will carry them for us." The last one commented, leaving Henry completely speechless.

"Are you guys not afraid that after buying all these things, you will not have somewhere to carry them home? After all, your cars do not have that much big space to be able to accommodate all these, right?" Jack could not help but comment at this moment.

It was only then that the ladies finally remembered this crucial thing. The moment that they realized that Henry could carry so many bags, and even if he could not, Jack was also there to assist, they let go, and began shopping without considering other factors.

But now that Jack had said it, they finally realized something crucial. How were they supposed to take all these with them?

It was at this moment that Charlotte suddenly remember something. She looked at Jack and said, "Don't you guys have a car that is a four-seater? We will put our items inside there."

"Yes. That is how it is going to be! You guys will do the transportation for us. And, if what we have brought cannot fit in your car, we will just have to ask the mall for the delivery service." Another lady commented.

"Off we go! Let's continue shopping until we get tired." Commented yet another lady.

At this moment, Jack could not help but feel that he had been duped. Previously, when Charlotte was inviting him, she claimed that there was a group of boys that was causing them trouble, preventing them from going out to enjoy themselves.

But it seemed that maybe those boys had refused to help them in carrying these shopping bags. And that was the reason why they were finding trouble coming out. But now that they had two boys with them, they could finally shop without worries?
