The chains broke, and I fell to the floor and quickly took the chains off of my wrist and ankles.

" Get him cleaned up." The man spoke to the gaurds outside who carried me by the shoulders.

" Walk." One of them pushed me.

"I can't, you idiot, my legs are asleep." I replied.

" Don't care. Walk!" He shouted.

" Well, I don't care as well!" I replied as he punched the man, knocking back and tackling the other guard.

" Sigh, you really are making me work." The man spoke behind me as I repeatedly punched the gaurd.

Thwack! I fell down as the floor became blurry before passing out.

( Jinsung Pov )

I watched as two beaten guards carry zero out of the room.

' Even with all that, he's still has some fight in him.' My expectations on Zero rose.

' But still, he's a mystery. And it's a matter of when can we keep him chained up.' I thought as I walked out of the room and closed the door, ignoring the dead doctor.

' Sigh, I also got to report this to Grace.' I rubbed my forehead as I walked down the hallway.

' But still, I thought Zero was antisocial and never bothered to open his mouth unless someone initiated a conversation... I guess the doctor's work had some effect on him.'

( Zero Pov )

I was awakened by the cold water dumped on me.

" Get cleaned!" The guard threw the bucket at me as he walked away.

I stared at the guard, complementing whether I should kill him or not, but controlling myself, I started to get rid of the filth from my body.

I finally had some light to see my own body.

' More scars...' I thought as I looked at my arms, upper body, and legs as I noticed the amount of scars that I gotten from those worms/eels.

" If Brian was here, he would've said," Nice battle scars. " Sigh." I sighed as I missed those interactions.

I finished cleaning myself, but I still smelled terrible.

" I'm done. Gonna give me a towel, at least?" I spoke but nothing except the doors opening to reveal the man from before.

" Wear this." He said as he threw a couple of clothes onto the floor.

I picked them up and saw that they were some kind of martial art robes.

I didn't bother to complain as I wore them and looked at the man.

" Since I'm your mentor, you're going to be to he trained by me." He said as he walked away and had no choice, I followed him.

" You and Bam will learn under me. But seeing the difference between you two, I decided to train each of you separately." He spoke.

" And if you're deemed competent and trustful, you'll go through an examination to join us. But if you refuse to join. We'll have no choice but to kill your friends who have rings that we can track." He explained.

" So, that's how you're going to convince Bam?" I asked, but before I could get an answer, I was punched in the face.

" Yes." He replied.

I held my nose for a second as I applied mana to heal it. There is no reason to hide it as I'm sure these guys have been keeping an eye on Bam and I the moment we met Yu.

" Nice healing ability. What is that energy?" He asked.

" Don't bother. It's only passed down from my clans bloodline." I replied.

" Bloodline, huh? Mind telling me, what's your clan?" He asked.

" It's a hidden clan. Don't bother." I replied.

Right now, I was lying about my powers' origin as we continued to walk down a very long hallway.

" Why pick a sword? Why not a needle? Or a dagger that seems to fit your style." He spoke.

' This man... just how much can he see through me?' I thought.

" I don't know about needles, but daggers... I don't have fond memories of them." I replied.

" Hmm, well, I don't care. Today, you're fighting with daggers." He replied.

" And some hand to hand combat and other stuff I don't want to bother talking about."

We stopped in front of a door as he opened it and entered inside, and I followed.

I observed the spacious room to see other people in the same outfit as I.

" Welcome, today you'll all be going through a test. The last one standing will be become my student." The man said as he steeped the side.

" Oh! And by the last one standing, I mean the last one alive." He threw a couple of knives in the middle of the room before leaving.

" That bastard." I cursed as I looked at everyone who tensed up.

' So this is what you mean, huh?' I thought as I saw someone rushing at the knives, which caused everyone to run as well.

It didn't take long for the room to become chaotic.

' Now let's check on Little Bam.' I thought as I ignored the screams behind me.

( Zero Pov )

" Arraaa!!" A man rushed at me with a knife as inessily disarmed him but hitting his wrist and taking the knife before stabbing his forearm.

" Ah! Ahhh! Klugk!" I then stabbed his throat before using his body as a shield to block another man's knife.

The other couldn't even retrieve his knife before I stabbed his hand onto the body before grabbing his knife and slashing his neck.

Taking the knife from the man's hand, I one to block and attack another's neck before throwing the knife to another regular who was about to rush at me.

Grabbing another knife, I began to use my [ Dagger mastery ] to its fullest.

Gutting, butchering. Throwing and killing. It was a massacre as I stood in the middle of the room covered in blood as I dropped the knives and looked at my bloodied hands.

" Sigh, I... I really lost myself again." I muttered before sitting on the floor waiting for the man to come back.

" Asshole must've predicted I would win..." I muttered as I closed my eyes and laid on the floor, ignoring the smell of blood.

" Quite the fucking initiation." I spoke as I heard the door opening.

" You did not hold back on them." He spoke.

' Didn't hold back? Does that mean he doesn't know about telekinesis?'

" Though you didn't use Shinsu or that energy you have." He spoke as he looked down at me.

' It seems... they assume telekinesis is just another weird energy to them.' I thought as I stood up.

" Clean yourself again. Today, I'll be teaching you something." He spoke as I was once again guided to the washroom by the guards.
