"The balance of power on earth is simple. Some elect those into power, some are hereditary, some are figureheads. While some take power by force. Across the world, power is held by those who are influential, but what happens when that balance of power is broken? What happens when an ancient enemy of humanity comes out of the shadows? Will those in power control the mass? Will they hand over power? Or will they stand in front of those threats, and defend humanity to the last standing city?"
Astrid Tuhs died at age 14 due to illness. However, her body now had a new host. Someone from a more modern time of Earth, with a past one wouldn't be able to guess no matter how hard they tried. With skills in close to everything that is thinkable for a human. Astrid suddenly becomes healthier, starts going back to school, makes some friends, becomes closer to her family.
But there were still many questions for Astrid to answer. Why was she reborn into this body? What are the secrets of this world and her family? Why does her body contain this strange illness?
Astrid goes on in her journey of life, as her detached view on life changes with her family's influence, as she gains people she trusts, and she heavily advances the new world she is living in. Her knowledge is something no person knows on this earth.
With her position in the family being that of the apple of their eye, she slowly changes from a weak, and sick young teenager. To a child of intelligence, one that the children can't bully her, to one where her parents let fly as a phoenix, as she starts to stand in this slightly different earth...
