Since long ago, there has been a saying: everything starts from a dot; well, it is from a dot that our story begins a dot destined to change the gear of what most living beings would call the inevitable. Yet, being just a poor dot, could it do so?Would a simple dot of light be enough to illuminate even in the most darkest places of the galaxy?

Chapter 1The dot.

One of the most stunning displays that nature has to offer us is the lightning. It's mesmerizing, dangerous, and mysterious. and is from a lightning where our tale begins.

In a world called Dal'ieth, a storm began to brew over an isolated island. Within minutes, it transformed into a violent storm. The wind howled, snapping trees in half as if they were mere twigs.

The rain wasn't ordinary either; it fell like sharp needles, piercing the leaves and trunks of the trees below.

Soon, thunder rumbled, echoing for kilometers around. A second later, a flash of purple lightning struck a nearby river. The storm raged on for another two hours before vanishing as suddenly as it had arrived. But within the river, something curious happened: a little bluish dot of light emerged from the water. It was no larger than 15 centimeters.

As the dot fully surfaced, it emitted a loud sound. Then, in the middle of the blue glow, two smaller purple dots appeared.

"Where am I?"

The tiny light murmured as it opened its eyes. All it could see was water and a few trees. Then it noticed a strange bird perched on a nearby branch.

Lvl 8 | Nightmare Bird | HP: 68/250 | ET: 0/200

"Whoa, I can see information about that bird! What about me?"

The little dot glanced at its reflection in the river.

Lvl 1 | Lightning Wisp | HP: 100/100 | ET: 100/100 | Exp: 0/500

Str: 3 | Dex: 8 | Vit: 2 | Def: 2 | Mdef: 10 | Crit: 10

Status: --

Skills: Thunderbolt: 1/1

As the wisp studied its stats, the Nightmare Bird suddenly swooped down, trying to kill its target. The little dot barely had time to react before it was attacked. A honeycomb-like barrier appeared around the wisp, but it still lost some energy. [ET 4/100].

Panicking, the wisp darted towards the forest, hoping to find shelter among the trees. But the bird was relentless, attacking again and shattering the barrier. Oddly, the wisp felt no pain; instead, the bird seemed to suffer as it was repelled by some kind of thunderbolt.

The wisp realized it was resistant to physical attacks, and when the barrier broke, its attacker would get zapped. As it fled, the wisp noticed it still had a skill called [Thunderbolt 1/1]—but with only one use, it had to be precise.

"I can do this."

the wisp thought, trying to muster courage. Moments later, it made a sharp turn, facing the pursuing bird. Trusting its instincts, the wisp activated its Thunderbolt skill. Instantly, a powerful bolt shot from the wisp, making a deafening sound. The Nightmare Bird didn't even have time to react before it fell, lifeless.

The wisp marveled at its own strength but knew the noise could attract more danger. Without hesitation, it flew away, searching for safety. Soon, it found a small cave, just big enough for it to squeeze into. Exhausted, the wisp entered the cave to rest.

Inside the cave, it checked its status again.

Lvl 1 | Lightning Wisp | HP: 98/100 | ET: 0/100 | Exp: 100/500

Str: 3 | Dex: 8 | Vit: 2 | Def: 2 | Mdef: 10 | Crit: 10

The wisp didn't understand what "Exp" meant, but it figured it was something good. Feeling worn out, it decided to stay in the cave until it recovered. Slowly, it regained a point of energy [ET: 1/100], but the process was so slow that it sighed, resigning itself to rest in the cave until fully restored.

A few hours ago...

In a beautiful purple room that resembled a galaxy, a humanoid figure made entirely of dark dust began to take form. Once he was formed, he looked at all the things present in that room, which consisted of only a bed and a pool with different colors of lightning.

The bed held a big, blue egg atop it, and it seemed like that was what the dark creature was after because then it walked towards the bed, embracing the egg with both of his dark hands until a purplish lightning strike sent him across the room.

He could tell that the person who had attacked him was much stronger than he was, so he warped out of the room quickly, grasping the egg in his hands. But that wasn't enough to get away since an energy ball covered in purple lightning was closing in.

He then tried warping away again, but right at that moment, a large purple spear struck him, impaling his shoulder. When he emerged from warp this time, he found himself atop several islands and realized then that the egg he was supposed to steal was missing.

But if this was not enough, his pursuer appeared once more and showered him with bolts of purplish lightning that buried him beneath the earth on one of the islands. It did not stop storming blows until he was utterly destroyed, but the tumult the blows made awoke something up even worse.

The only mountain in the middle of these islands began to rumble, and then it began to change shape into a 100-meter tall grotesque humanoid figure, with its six long black tentacles emerging from behind his back.

The moment the purple light had detected the new enemy, purple clouds started to form atop it, spread out and soon engulfed every island in its vicinity. A fierce storm then stroked, and several purple tengu lightnings lashed at the dark, humanoid figure repeatedly.

This continued until the purple ball formed into a ten-meter purple female figure. She then used that form to create a huge purple hammer of lightning and, with it, crushed the behemoth. With every strike of her hammer on the beast, the shockwaves made the rain into piercing lethal droplets of water that pierced the nearby forest.

The purple female has almost vanished into the night-long battle and appeared seriously injured. The dark creature knew that and attacked her even more often until she chose to end the fight here and warp away, not before giving a pained look towards the islands under her.

Disclaimer: I'd received a few harsh complaints from some readers that my MC is not a real villain, and I have to agree; if you're looking for some complete psycho MC who burns random farmer villages down just for fun then don't read. The MC is a ruthless man who does evil things from time to time, but only to his enemies or those he considers to be true scum. He gains no joy from tormenting strangers. Also don't read if you want a story about buying s*x slaves and r*ping them, that doesn't happen in this novel. He will treat the women he wants to be with as if they were normal people, whether they're slaves or not.
