this was C-rank?

it's already been a day since we left the village, so far nothing has happened, just hopping from tree to tree, I notice sweat coming from Naruto's forehead and heavy breathing sakura so I decide to speak up.

"hey sensei? could we take a break? it's already getting dark anyway"

after thinking a bit he nodded, so we find a good spot to set up camp, while we are doing that I ask naruto a very important question.

"hey, naruto? have you been channeling chakra to your legs while tree hoping?"

"...what?"

I facepalm at that and turn to kakashi,

he's still setting up his tent.

"you haven't told him that?"

"huh, you say something Haruto?"

...yeah, and to think that they wouldn't even learn tree climbing until the wave mission.

after we are done setting up our tents, I get my promised scroll of the jutsu "Chidori" and I was grinning internally.

(time to rip off sasuke from the future.)

I decide to take the first shift and read the scroll.

after my shift was done I woke up Sasuke and went to sleep, I'll see if I can learn the jutsu in my simulation, chakra control may not work but skills should.

(start the simulation)

"Okay team, we should be there tomorrow"

it's been two and a half days and I figured out that my theory was right.

Well not completely, If I manage to learn a jutsu there it won't transfer to reality, but I will have an easier time re-learning it.

"Take a rest, we have been going for a while now"

stopping at a clearing we don't bother setting up camp it's still the middle of the day, our mission is to deliver a scroll to Suna ninja at the border, if all goes well we won't encounter any problems.

"Haruto how's your training with that scroll coming along?"

looking over at him, he's taken out his book and is flipping a page as he asks the question.

"it's coming along nicely, should be done by next week, if we weren't traveling it would take less" I answer with a shrug.

"what scroll are you talking about sensei?" asked naruto, and I could see sasuke looking over as well interested.

"oh nothing much naruto, since he finished his training with the leaf, I'm teaching him a jutsu"

"oh, what kind of jutsu sensei? can I learn it too?" he asks, a little hyperactive.

"no naruto, your affinity is wind, I'll try looking for a scroll for you when we get back"

naruto just nods happily at that.

"Why aren't you teaching me that too?"

sasuke asks, his pride getting the better of him.

"you haven't finished your training, if you master that, it will only make learning this jutsu easier"

he just nods at that, but I can see that he's still not satisfied.

taking my ninjato out of its sheath, I begin focusing on it, it starts to sizzle with lightning chakra but faded after a few seconds, it's hard to maintain, it's like the metal is resisting it, that's why I wanted to get the sword made of chakra metal, sighing to my self I just stand up and get ready to tree hop again.

after getting to the border we just stood back and let kakashi hand a scroll over to the other team's sensei, the atmosphere was tense, so imagine everyone's reaction when I sneezed.

on the way back kakashi asked me to show him how Chidori was coming along, and when I did he just nodded his head and told me to keep it up...the man can't encourage me at all, and he becomes the Hokage?

the rest of the trip went smoothly and we split up after we entered the Konoha gates, I head straight to the training ground as I drop off my stuff at the apartment.

well, I guess that's good enough for a ninja that just graduated two and a half months ago.

well, I guess there's nothing more to do but D-ranks and maybe some C-ranks now, lets hope that things don't get too boring before the Chunin exams, and I better get promoted.

it's been 5 days and since we came back from the mission and I'm going back to duty tomorrow so let me enjoy my time now...or I could just train with my summon and get to know him.

honestly training ground 7 should be my home away from home, I spend so much time there, but whatever I'm not going there now, it's time to tackle the forest of death...okay no I'm going to use the training ground next to it, it's abandoned anyway.

walking into the training ground I do the hand seals for the summoning jutsu.

a puff of smoke a d Sora is standing in a battle-ready position.

"calm down Sora, I just called you here so we could train"

he looked back at me a little confused.

"Yeah, I don't want to get in each other's way when we fight together so I was thinking about a little training session to improve our teamwork"

he just nods at that and agrees to talk with elders about him being summoned for long periods, so we have more time to get along.

and so I began my training yet again, this time with a companion.

okay so now that's done I'll be posting references about stats, so you know what to expect and to think that I didn't realize it until someone commented on it... I might just be an idiot.
