Chapter 31

''Hey, Miyu-san. Can you help me with something later after school?'' Yui approached me as the lunch time is over. There are just only me, Yui and Himari in the classroom.

''Su-sure..'' I shuttered as I look at her. She crossed her arm and leans closer towards me.

''Remember not to be late okay. We will be waiting you at the store room later.'' Yui smirked at me. Himari taps her shoulder then whisper something near her. Yui turn around and saw Yuuto was standing on the entrance.

He walks closer towards her direction while giving out a murderous vibes. She shyly brush her hair back to her ears.

''Hey, Yuuto-kun. What are you doing now-''

''Miyu have you finish your essay? Can I take a peak please? I promise that I won't copy yours.'' Yuuto shoves her to the side and asked me for my essay.

Yui eyes widen as her face was flushed in embarrassment. She turn at him in disbelief.

''Yuuto-kun... I think that it was rude to treat her like that...'' I whispered at him. He turn and look at her.

''My bad, I think it was a trash that's walking around the class. I am sorry Sugiyama-san. I will be more 'aware' next time.'' Yuuto smiled at her.Then he leans closer to her.

''I think you should wear a thicker concealer or else someone going to know that your father is an alcoholic person. Or maybe you should clean your mouth before you talk because I can smell tobacco from your breath.'' He whispered.

''How do you know that?!'' Yui take a step backwards in surprise.

''Shh... keep is down Sugiyama-san... or you might let everyone in this class know that our 'Missy' is from a broken family... you know what I means right..'' Yuuto look at her while covering her mouths with his index finger.

Looking at them I know something is wrong between them, so I decide to stop them before the situasion getting worse. I get up from my seats and grabs his sleeves.

''That enough Yuuto-kun. Now stop it and moves your butt to your seats. Yui-san, we talk again later after school. I also have something to ask you too.'' I said as I holding his sleeves tightly.

''Okay then, Miyu-san. Yuu- I mean Yamamoto-san, thank you for your 'advice'. I will be sure to wear a thicker concealer next time. Lets go, Mari-san.'' She smiled.

Then she turn her back and went to her seats, followed by Himari. Letting go a relief sigh, I started to questions him endlessly after he try to provoke her. I am afraid that he might be her next target.

''Yuuto-kun, what are you trying to do just now?! You are trying to provoke her by just like that?! Do you know that she might—...'' I stopped as I almost let my words slips off my tongue.

''She might what? Are you afraid that I might be her next target after you?'' He looked at me with his cold, ice gaze.

I was speechless when I assumed that he know what happen between us. I though I wanted to deal this myself but he know it already, looks like I have to end it fast.

''Yuuto Yamamoto-san, I know what I am doing so stay away from meddling my business with her!'' I got tensed and I scolded him fiercely.

''Miyu....'' Yuuto looked at me with his green eyes widen in surprise. Well, I can't blame him since I rarely get this angry with him.

Looking at his surprised expression that slowly turns into disappointment, brings me back to my senses.

'What have you done, Miyu-san...' I clutches my fist.

Feeling down, I went outside the class to calm myself down a little. As I walk trough the hallways, I bumped into Touma who happens to be carrying some book. He noticed that I was feeling under the clouds.

''Miyu-san, what happen? Did something bad just happen to you?'' He asked with his concerned voice.

I look at him and try to smile a bit in order not to make him worry about me.

''Its nothing...I just happen to have a sudden mood swings. You know, the 'women stuffs'. So yea, basically I am fine.'' I awkwardly laugh as I touched my head.

Touma stay silent for sometimes until he decide to ask me to skip class for today.

''Wanna skip class today? You look likes you need to take a break.'' He suggested.

''Ehh?! Why the hell I should skip my lessons just because I am down?! And Touma-san, don't you ever try to skip class or else I am going to kick your ass if I know that you are skipping your class, young man.'' I started to act like an old grumpy granny who advised her grandson.

''Pfft!!'' He chuckled. Then he pets my head while holding the piled up books on his left hand. I was quite surprised actually that it was the first time that someone other than Yuuto who pets my head that naturally.

''Now that's the Miyu I know, who will act angry if she feels like it. You don't have to hide it away you know.'' Touma smiled to me. Suddenly, my heart started to race as our eyes meet each others. I noticed that his purple eyes looks so majestic from this distance.

''There you are, Miyu-san. I have been looking for you everywhere.'' Yuuto suddenly called out for me.

''Ah, Yuuto-kun!'' I look at him in surprise. I never expected him to come looking for me.

''Looks like I need to go now. See you later,Miyu-san. Remember to keeps on smiling okay.'' Touma waves good bye at us before he leaves and heads towards the office.

''Miyu-chan, what did both of you have done that your face burning up like this,huh?'' Yuuto asked me as he walks closer towards me.

''Yuuto-kun, come here and hug me, please. I wanted to make sure of something.'' I open my arm wide.

He then warps me in his arm and gently hugged me.

''Is this okay? Or do you want more?'' Yuuto asked as he held me in his arm.

''Nope, this is enough. I am good with it. And... I am sorry for scolding you back in the classroom...'' I apologies.

''Its okay....'' He replied.

Yuuto then coldly look at the direction that Touma just left.
