Prologue

In the Forest of No Return, a certain man is being chased to death by a dozens of people. He is running and hiding for almost a day with blood covering his head and body. His panting turns heavier and heavier every minute. His feet are turning numb.

He's tired. He wants to give up. But he knows that he can't. If he gave up now, everything that he has done from the beginning will be useless. But how can he escape from his death? If only there is a miracle.

"A miracle? Ha! "He laughed bitterly while biting his lips. His body can't take it anymore. The poison on his body is taking too much of his strength.

*plump! * His body finally dropped on the ground.

"Is this really my ending?" He raised his head and look up at the sky.

Several moments, he heard footsteps from all over the place. He tried to stand but unfortunately, his knees no longer have any strength.

"I found him!!" A man wearing an all-black outfit holding a riffle shouted. But before he could take another step, a tiger appeared in the middle of him and the man. Both of them where surprised.

Then a girl appeared out of nowhere.

"Return from where you belong." She said in a serious tone. She's wearing an all-white dress with a mask that covers her entire face. She has a silky long black hair that's being carried by the wind. One look and people may see her as a Goddess or a Fairy in the night.

The man in all black regain his senses. "Missy. You get out from here if you don't want to be hurt. "He said.

"Hurt? Who? You mean, you will hurt me? "She ask tilting her head to the right.

Before the man could answer, his comrades came in. "Two. Where is he?"

The man just pointed at the bloody person laying on the tree but a tiger is in between them so they can't just act rashly.

"What is happening here? "The captain asked him pointing at the tiger.

"I don't know. That thing appeared before I could take action. "

"Pfftt… Two? Are you afraid of the tiger? "One of his comrades laugh out loud. "Why don't you just shoot it?"

"Seven… Don't forget that this is the Forest of No Return." He said giving him a warning.

The Forest of No Return is famous for its tale. According to the Legend, a Witch is living and governing the Forest. Dangerous beasts and animals are leaving in the deepest so no one dared to go deeper. Unfortunately, because they need to complete their mission, they have no choice but to do so.

"What? Do you really believe on the legend? Look… It's only a tiger. At most will be lions. But we can just kill them." His comrade laughs and so is everyone except him.

After saying it, the air surrounding them became heavy.

"Kill them?" Alas. The girl spoke again and that's the only time they notice her.

The injured man could feel a sudden change in the atmosphere. He is asking his self, who is this girl? Her aura changed immediately, from innocent to deadly.

"Oh. And who is this little girl? "Seven grinned and even tried to measure her up. His eyes are full of lust.

"You do not deserve to know my name." She said and in a second, Seven gasped for breath.

"You… "He tried to speak, but he can't. His heart is like being crumpled by a hand. His breath is getting heavier and heavier. It's like the air surrounding him is slowly disappearing.

"Seven!! "His comrades where in despair and asking what is going on.

"Leave! Or all of you will die in this forest. "She said sending them a warning.

"Kill her!!" The Captain shouted and all of them turn their weapon to her direction.

"Captain… I think we should leave. "Two said cowering in fear. He doesn't understand what is happening but he knows that all of them are in danger.

"Fool!! Have you forgotten our mission?!! Five?! How is Seven?"

"He's dead." His subordinate answered after checking the pulse. All of their faces grimed.

How did that happen? No one approached him. There are no wounds.

"It's like, his heart just stops."

"Tsss!! Kill her!! "The Captain shouted again. They pull the trigger on their riffle but unfortunately, no bullets came out.

"What is happening?!! F*ck!!! "

Number Two, looked at the girl and slowly, he understands what is happening to them.

"Captain... Let's get out of here!!"

"Shut up!! If you leave, I will be the one - - "

"Roarrrr!!!!" The tiger attacked him before he could finish his statement. Blood gushed out from his neck. His comrades tried to attack the tiger, but a pack of wolves appeared and devoured all of them.

And now, the only one that is left is Number Two.

His body dropped to the ground and his face was scared shitless. A warm yellow liquid dripped from his thighs.

He was a Thirty-year-old Mercenary, but this is the first time that he experienced hopelessness. All of his comrades were devoured.

The girl looked at him, then she turned her head to the direction of person who is lying beside the tree. She walked to him and sized him up.

"Who… "

"Shhh… Sleep. "She said waiving her right hand to his face. And in an instant, he lost consciousness. "Kyell." Without looking at the tiger, the animal went to her and lowered down his body. Then the man's body float and it was laid on top of the tiger. "Home." She commanded and together with her, the wolves and the tiger leave and disappear into the darkness.

On the other hand, Two's eyes were fixed into the path the girl took.

Now he knows the identity of that woman.

In this forest, the only one who lived here is none other than…
